stimulant advice

need some advice for anyone who has/does use ADD/ADHD medicines. my friend sells me his Concerta 36mg capsules and i love the concentration they give me, not to mention to appetite reduction/etc.

anyways a few days ago i took 1 pill, didnt feel anything, took another, and all i got was anxiety for a good 3 hours, and silly me took ANOTHER pill:| and it left me feeling tweaked out til like 2AM. i think i felt this way cuz i was having a bad day to begin with, and i hadnt eaten at all that day

So here be ma questions:)

-how often can/should i take concerta

-whats the best way (supplements,excersize) to help your body recover from stims

-how can i use em to help me lose wieght

This is my first post on Bluelight but prescription stimulants are probably my drug of choice. I love how they make me LIKE to work, how they make me extremely social and how fast I can read on them.

But I hear that Concerta is the ugliest of them, they are supposed to make you the most anxious and angry but I have heard of good experiences on it. I prefer Adderall so if you could switch to that, it would probably be a better option.

If I take it more than once a week, I lose a ton of weight and it isn't as effective so probably once a week is your best bet. When I used to buy 2 at a time and take the 2nd one like 24 hours after the first, I would get crazy migraines and spend the 3rd night puking my guts out. I guess it depends on the user though.

The best supplement is probably to exercise and force yourself to eat and sleep as much as possible, even though they make you not want to.

You can use them to lose weight however you want, they are very effective in that, though that's probably unhealthy and could backfire on you.
 
I took an adderal once when I was 16 or so. I remember I didn't sleep that night and I jacked off to internet porn for like 5 hours straight. Never again.

in general, a "1 day on, 2-3 days off" plan would be a good idea for any stimulant user.

whats the best way (supplements,excersize) to help your body recover from stims

best advice... while using:

1) make sure to stay hydrated. drink lots and lots of water and then drink lots and lots more.

2) make sure to eat. even though you're appetite is gone, your body still needs food. things like Carnation Instant Breakfast can work well here for example.

3) make sure to sleep. sleep deprivation taxes the hell out of one's body. IMO, sleep dep. is what fucks people up the most after stimulant use.

adequate water, food and sleep should greatly reduce the bodily stress of stims. exercising the next day is a great idea. cardio works wonders for me in this regard. lastly, when it comes to supplements, i've probably tried every one that was ever recommended to me for post-stimulant use. in retrospect, i feel like i wasted a lot of money. the only supplements i can whole-heartedly recommend are Magnesium and Omega-3s. i take 533mg. of Magnesium and 1.5g. EPA, 1.0g. DHA (Omega-3s) every day. be aware, there are a number of different forms of Magnesium. the hard-and-fast rule would be to stay away from Magnesium Oxide; it sucks. i take Magnesium Glycinate and it works quite well for me.

how can i use em to help me lose wieght

using them to legitimately lose weight/curb appetite consists of a regime quite different from "normal" recreational use. i had a friend that was a workout freak that used to take Adderall as part of his stack of supplements. i'm not too familiar with it but, if memory serves me right, it's usually small-ish doses taken for a few weeks then stopped for a few weeks. to be honest, i really don't know.

lastly, if you have any other questions or want me to elaborate on any of this, ask away! it's hard for me to tell from your post how much experience you have with Concerta (Methylphenidate) so if i'm telling you a bunch of stuff you already know, my apologies. stay safe!
