Mods, move this to Cannabis Discussion if you think it belongs there, but for some reason I thought that PD would be more helpful.

I introduced a friend to Salvia two nights ago, and she absolutely loved it. It was a lowish dose-no outright hallucinations or reality-twisting, just a really funny enhanced/altered *this* reality. She came down. The next day she felt GREAT.

Then last night, she smoked some weed, and got high, and 14 hours later has not come down. I don't know if this is related to her salvia experience or not, but either way, how might one come down from being high on weed?

I don't know the full details of exactly in what ways she is high, but when I find out I'll update this thread.

Thanks.

update:

this was the first time she used a vaporizer, and she got REALLY high from it.

her pupils are back to normal right now- i don't think she's still actually under the influence.

she's had a history of bad concussions and i suspect this made it worse. One side of her face is numb, she can barely feel her left shoulder and arm...

hmmmm i think i'm gonna mozey on over to Healthy Living...

EDIT: Actually, can a mod shift this over? Thanks

Cannabis and its metabolites are fat soluble. Especially if she doesn't regularly smoke, the metabolites (some of which are still active) hang around for quite a bit.

Sounds like your friend just doesn't tolerate cannabis well.

Anxiety can be - i take that back - is a bitch.

I am not saying this is definitely what happens but its quite possible she tricked herself.
