I am on methadone and mogadon. Smoke alot of pot, drink faily. I was in a bad routine. Diverting my methadone doses and injecting them, selling oxycontins and using shitloads. Not showering for weeks on end. Injecting meth and giving me psychosis from hell (i have schizophrenia) So i was prescribed my benzos and methadone by a last resort dr cause id been caught diverting and doing dodgy shit so many times. Ran into my ex gf while i was at my monthly appointment and had a shot of methadone with her in the waiting room toilets and had already taken shitloads of mogadon that day so i almost overdosed in the waiting room so i ended up banned from my prescriber. The stress from this put me in deep psychosis and i was to afraid to stay at home for a week. I was frantically calli ng around town to find a new prescriber and i ended up with the last resort of last resorts the public prescriber. So at first ive been going well with them. Ive stopped diverting my doses. Stopped injecting meth besides a few minor slipups. It all sounds good but now these cunts are tryna pull my mogadon out from under me the reduction has already started. I am so afraid this will be a catalyst for me to go off the rails again. I have been using for 15 years and i just want this to end. I need advice for coming off this mogadon im so afraid itll cause my psychosis to come back. Thats what happened last time i came off benzos.

Are you still on methadone too ? If you come off both its gonna be hard if you don't wean properly. If your just on the benzos then make sure they wean you slowly if they are cutting you off. I wish I could help more .

I can imagine how scary this must feel. What method are they using to wean you down from the mogadon? Mogadon is never supposed to be prescribed for long term because it can create worse problems than it was treating in the first place. Try to see this as a goal that will be better for you in the end. But the most important thing is that you taper very slowly. Here is some information to talk about with your prescriber: https://benzo.org.uk/manual/
