Harm Reduction Sterifilt filters

Ok i used the search engine but i couldnt come up with a good answer as to how well these work compared to say micron or wheel filters. Since i got abunch of these at the needle exchange for free i'm using them since the only other thing i have for filtration is cotton . Also since they fit on the end of any 1cc insulin syringe they are damn convenient.

So if anyone has any experience with them or know how much shit they get out compared to say micron filters id appreciate it.

Hey paranoid android,

Sterifilt is 10micron pore size and up to 0.2mcg or so is available on the market.

This will have particle sizes you can compare to. Bacteria are 0.5mcg to 5mcg or so and viruses are even smaller.

Ok well that clears it up. Hmm guess im lucky they are free here since micron filters at some needle exchanges cost $5 a pop or so and unless you buy off the net a regular IV user could not afford that.

Glad to know that i have a wack of them so my veins will thank me atleast abit.

Thanks for the info man i was confuzled there. The guy at the needle exchange had never heard of micron filters so he just gave me these which luckily for me are micron filters.
