They maintain a steady touring schedule across the country while rebelling against purists and classification-mongers everywhere. They're goal of "doing electronic music the right way" seems like it's getting accomplished. Hey I just found out that DERRICK MAY is playing at a Detroit Party the same day as Stereotopia.
He's also Spinning with his Fellow Detroit Natives: Ritchie Hawtin, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, Carl Craig, and Theorum.
And alot others.
It looks like a tight party too so he might get trashed the "Derrick May Way" if you know what I mean.
If anyone is pressed on seeing him I wouldn't keep your hopes up if I were you because he might be a no show.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Stereotopia, too, has been canceled.
Just kidding. Had to, sorry.
I think i might be going to this. still not sure if i am up for the NYC trip. maybe, just maybe...

shit, man, you almost gave me a heart attack!
you should go. i'd like to meet you.

I would really love to go, still not sure. The only thing that is really stopping me is my ankle. NYC parties tend to be extremely crowded. I dunno if I wanna risk reinjuring my ankle (broke it 6 weeks ago for those who don't know).By then I think I will have the aircast off and have on a stirrup. Who knows. I'll probably decide like a few days before. ::Wondering if Marbica wants to meet me just to pound my face in:: heheh just kidding.
wink.gif

Hmmmm....(Jamal is leaning more towards going than not going)
We'll just have to wait and see. Who really cares anyway. heheh. Ok I will shut up now.
