Well everything is all set for me!!! Ticket, hotel room, just talked to my boss...so ill be getting outta work around 12-1 on friday. I'm sure ill be meeting some of you either before the party or during the party...but if i dont...look for a kid thats gonna light up the sky :)
 
Those who have met other BL'ers by chance I know it happens Thats exactle how I met oompah loompah two weeks ago. LOL I knew he was from Sand Diego and a friend who had met him already described him to me so when I was at the club I saw this guy who might have been him in Philly. I go up to him and ask him if he was from California. LOL He started getting defensive saying yes but dont judge me because of the way he was dancing and shit. LOL Thats when I asked him if he was oompah and it cleared up any judging he thought I was doing. With that aside look at how many people we didnt run into last year because no one really met them before. We knew they went because of their afterposts but we never met them.
Just to let everyone know I am 100% set for the weekend. I made enough money to just say screw it to Friday as well as Monday and I am making it a little much needed Vaca for me. I will be arriving in Baltimore sometime on Friday midday and leaving on Monday midday or night :-)
Those who would like to do something in Baltimore maybe on Sunday or monday lemme know the Baltimore Inner Harbor is a great place to go. There are a ton of things to do(as well as bars etc.) To chill at.
There will be NO alchohol at this party. Ultraworld has been known to serve booze at some of there other parties(I.E. Radiate) but since this party will be in a federal building(Ft. Armistead Park)They will not be serving it at this party. Also there was talk last year that if they find shit on you in the BLdg. It doesnt fall under the same arrest protocols as normal being it in a federal bldg. This prolly isnt going to be enforced though because I didnt see it as a problem last year. I dont want to scare people because last years event went off with no major problems. Would just like to reemphazise to be dubbly careful.
 
Useful information, part I.
List of things to bring
1. Bug Repellant (you have no idea how important this is!)
2. Blanket to sprawl out on, on the grassy knoll.
3. Cameras... yes they are allowed!
4. Directions! Even if you *think* you know where you are going, you probably dont ;-)
5. Extra clothes... one of the best feelings in the world, and i think you'll all agree with me, is putting on clean, comfy clothes after a party (especially an outdoors one). Especially if you plan on partying in the hotel afterwards... throw in an extra pair of shoes... your sneaks WILL get wet on dewy grass, i promise you.
6. Food. Food is good. And if you dont get hungry, I'll eat it. No problem. Food includes all forms of candy.
7. Pen and small notebook -- so people can sign memories to you (and some of the stuff BLers write when they are "under the influence" is quite amusing the next day, lol)
8. Good vibes :)
9. Stash some money in your glove compartment for gas and tolls on the way home... if you keep all your money in your pockets, you're bound to lose/spend it all, and then you are stuck in baltimore :)
10. cell numbers of those you need to be in contact with...

Official meetup area: the "Grassy Knoll"
For those of you who werent there previous years, this is a grassy hill to your immediate right as you enter the venue. It has a fence behind it and overlooks one of the main tents (assuming the tents are in the same area as last year). I'm going to bring a huge Tigger and Pooh blanket as one of the landmarks (i'll let you know if i come up with something better before then)... so look for that blanket, and bring your own too, cuz we need a couple blankets for all of us to sprawl out on!
Pre- and post-party meetups: as discussed in the email list. i wont post those here. if you're not on the list, talk to Xplore.
me and candygrl66 will be wearing nametags and bringing xtras. another thing we came up with that appears to be a good plan in identifying BLers who are walking around the party, is to write "BL" on your left hand in magic marker (and we'll have a marker with us). You wouldnt think its very effective, but trust me, it is!
Get in line early. Real early.

xplore...common now man if you really were down with psytrance..you woulda battled the snow to get to vinyl...i mean i drove from NC then through that fucking blizzard to get there!! heehehe j/k dude...oh yeah but astral projection is the fucking shit...that is some of the stuff that got me into electronica to begin with....well i hope to meet you both sat! THIS IS GONNA BE HARD NEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRERHEHEHEEHR!!
 
Headsup on the meetups:
The layout this year is gonna be different at Starscape. The main stage will be in a whole new area, the DnB is gonna be where the main area was, the UK Garage/2-step/Breaks area is where the DnB used to be, the House/hard house stage is in a new area, Psytrance is on the shore looking at the sunrise, the weird stuff is on the pier like last year.
So the 'grassy knoll' should be on the landward side of the DnB area.

NCTexan, you know what I'm talking about that blizzard though. I was suppose to drive from PA and nobody wanted to go so I had to skip it. Hopefully we'll meet up this time and maybe I'll have someone brave to go with next time, cause my friends are just looking for reasons to bail out of things, which is kinda sad.
Anyway, SS will be my chance to make it all up. And hell yeah for psytrance being on the beach! though I'm sure I'll run around all the areas.

God i have over 250 posts and been on bluelight for two years still havent met any other BL'ers. Well I will be heading down to this party from NJ hope to see some of you there.
