I think of all the death it took
To recognize this day
I remember before when innosence was bliss

I think of a time before the warships
Rested in long island sound
I walk up to the shattered blocks
Of a world so far away
I think of all the terror caused
And of memories that will stay
I try and see the prospect
Of a world born anew
But when this war is over
Will i be a victim too.
