Just beneath the rafters, in a church made of Stone
Laid a Stained Glass Window in the attic all alone
A work of art forgotton
A treasure thrown away
Taken from the sunlight
It was just a useless frame
Oh, the things in life we take for granted
Oh, the things of wonder we could know
Oh, I want to feel Illuminated full of heavens light shining in my life
Let the window of my heart reveal your love
I took the Stained Glass Window, and held it to the Light
Years of hidden glory reappeared before my eyes
Every brillant color
Glowing like a Fire
Full of Revelation
And Created to Inspire
Thirsty for the morning Sun
I am Yours
Thy Will Be Done
Let Your Love in me Unfold
With it's Beauty I Behold
There's A Stained Glass Window
In the Soul of Every Man
A Pattern of Perfection
Made by Holy Hands
And with the Light of Heaven
Pouring through Each Pane
Truth in All It's Splendor
Is Revealed and Will Remain
Peace and Love To All-song(-song writer unknown)

I often find beauty in things, and it's funny how something can open up a window of words,
nice piece!

beautiful. though I don't go to church anymore or really consider myself christian, i think stained glass windows were one of the things I loved the most about it. awesome writing!
