St. Johns Wort "increased metabolism and elimination of Buprenorphine/Methadone"

This supposedly scholarly paper

Claims that St. Johns Wort "increased the metabolism and elimination of Methadone" and "increased the metabolism and elimination of Buprenorphine"

Does that mean it increased its effects or not? Does that mean, according to this paper, that one could potentiate Bupe/Methadone for St Johns Wort?

Sounds to me like it decreases the half life, although to be honest i didn't read the paper because im to tired to remember what i read 6 lines above.

As far as increasing the effects? Its possible. But i wouldn't say likely.

Again this is beyond speculation.
