Hey guys stopped taking fluoxetine 3 weeks ago today and still cannot feel much recreational effects on opiates (tramadol, oxycodone and codeine) even at high doses, will this happen all the way until the 5 week period it takes fluoxetine to leave your system or should that problem have been solved by now? Also not sure If this had an impact but started taking lithium at the same time as I stopped the fluoxetine, any help would be much appreciated

While the CYP450 2D6 issues that arise from Fluoxetine can def cause problems with codeine, it's a bit of a mystery as to why it may be causing problems with tramadol or oxycodone. Most who use the two in combination report no gains or drawbacks in anything other than codeine.
Lithium plays well with most meds aside from the rare IV morphine SS complication.
Not sure what to tell you except that things might not be any better after 5 weeks.
