SSRI substitution - any experience?

I'm currently on Paxil, but sometimes I get ahold of another SSRI (i have
celexa and zoloft lying around). I know the Basic mechanism of action is the
same, but there are obviously differences.
My question is this. One, has anyone substituted one SSRI for another, and how well did it work? And two, will one prevent withdrawal from another?

This post is probably more suitable for the Health forum. As far as I know the difference in the various SSRI's is how long they are active in your body. I'm pretty sure one will prevent withdrawal from another but I would highly suggest talking to your psychiatrist about this matter.

I wasn't really thinking of doing this....but i'm broke, and even my $7
prescription co-pay can be too much sometime, especially when you're sitting on
hundreds of free celexa. And sometimes i'm too forgetful and don't want to run
out and face withdrawal.
I'm not getting any side effects (except side effects i enjoy, like decreased
appetite) so I don't really want to switch....it was just intellectual curiosity.
