SSRI and MDMA

been using this ssri called cipralex/escitalopram for around 6 weeks now. i'm not suffering from anxiety or depressions. once i learned mdma will not work while on ssris i immediately stopped taking it. this was exactly 7 days ago. i'm going on vacation tomorrow. the half life of it according to wiki is 27–32 hours. will it still affect my mdma experience and if so how much?

Dulling the MDMA experience isn't the only concern. Serotonin syndrome is also.

SSRI drugs bind to fat, and can have lengthy elimination half-lives. I doubt however that the SSRI will still be active, since several half-lives have passed. The answer to this is dictated by your metabolism, and your biological make up. If I had to give you a guess, I would say that you're safe. Although, it wouldn't hurt to wait longer, if possible.

smart move ditching the SSRI. Zombie pills they are. Like Chromo said you should wait a little more though just tobe sure

Ive been on zoloft for a while and roll quite a bit, but it is for sure a different experience. not very intense pretty subtle while on ssri's.

isn't that paradoxical? I mean, either the the SRI cancels out the SRA (which is the case, afaik), or they synergyze, leading to serotonin syndrome. how can both be true at the same time?
