Spring Rain

I sit naked on a stump playing with fireflies
The sky vast and purple opened
Sweet release coming down, bitter honey
My friends leave racing between the drops
Small streaks of light fading, nature’s highway is free of road blocks
In the field now arms raised
Brilliant grin
More light red, white and blue
Long ride, arms behind me now
But it still rains
