some people have recently called me out as a drug racist! no names, (phrozen)! but even though my birthday is this month I'll do What phrozen wants! this months substance of the month is Hydromorpnone! Its one of my favorite Opioids. And I love opioids. Even though it does not last long, I still love the Euphoria. It's also great for the grand opiate dreams. I like to take about 24 mgs for a good time, maybe 18. I used to get eights a lot.

I would like to hear amore's experiences with good ol Dilaudid. stories of good times past, last Friday anything! If you know of a good Report 1 missed, post it. Have an idea for next months substance of the month? send me a PM, ld love to hear it

an experience with Dilaudid that always Stuck with me is one of the first times I ever got it. I took 8 mgs and hung out in my room. I fell asleep and woke up 4 hours later with the most intense euphoria, almost like MDMA. I could not open mi eyes and I could not even move! It was the first tine I ever experienced sleep paralysis. At first I was scared, but it felt so good I did not want it to end!

I never get those dreamy States with opiates anymore and I would do almost anything to get it back! except stop for a month!

Haha, nah, seriously though Im very glad that you were the one chosen to be the most recent mod here. With as much activity as I've had recently on Drug basics, I havent been devoting enough time to my other Bluelight home of TR. Especially since I'm the only one doing anything over there. But you know what, I dont really have to worry about that too much because I come here and you have this place locked down and up to date.


Everyone who posts here frequently should give major thanks to Beenhead for keeping it going as much as he has.

pfft, beenhead's a dick man, I don't know where you're getting all that from :p

Hydromorphone, however, is a very nice drug. The euphoria is probably better than any of the other opiates I've tried with the exception of fentanyl, but both of them are just so damn short in duration. It can get expensive to nod all day with these!


Edit Beenhead: If it wasnt for me buddy youd never of tried those drugs! ya Bitch :)

I've never tried either hydromorphone or fentanyl, but I had always heard that fentanyl is very weak in euphoria and is mostly analgesic.

That's a nice tolerance if you're IV'ing. An opiate naive person would be fine with 4-6mg's.




I find that hydromorphone is quite rare. I've never seen it sold on the street and I've only had access to it a few times.

Nice rush, but shorter duration than heroin/morphine. I prefer it over IV fentanyl, as its not as "synthetic" feeling.

Anyway, if you're going to shoot a pharmaceutical opiate in the US, hydromorphone should be your top choice. (Never tried oxymorphone, so I can't comment on that!)
 
I dont Iv, but yes thats horrendous for a IV user ! I snort it, I can find it fairly regular but its awfully expensive. Im definately not opiate Naive. My fav opiate is Methadone for its duration.

If I could get it my real favorite is Levorphanol. the Duration and its awesome euphoria plus liitle to no stomach ickies.

Also Xorkoth, I like Fentanyl. Its got a great Euphoria In my opinion. The only thing I hate is the duration, its far too short for its high price.
 
The only experience I have had with these is when my friend's grandma died and he gave me 160 of the 8mg pills. I found that they broke down just fine for IV injection. I still think I liked heroin a lot more than the dilauded.

I found the dilauded to be too short lived, and a little bit less overpowering than a full on dose of heroin. A lot of people like it more than the H, but I just couldn't see it.

Now i wouldn't touch either... It got a little crazy for a few years and tons of irresponsible drug use.
 
Unfortunately opiates are a dead end... albeit a very pleasant one. If you're thinking of trying them, I ask you why? At best you'll feel nice, come down, and be no further than where you started. And at worst you'll be down a very dark road indeed.

I did that "once" in 1970 and I am still trying to "recapture" that feeling 37 years later.
 
yes, but I found telling people, especially friends and family not to do something ever increases the likelyhood they will do it eventually.
Instead I preach that it is okay to try something one time out of curiosity, but one must have the will power to moderate ones self and to not continue use.

Many people I know scare away from opiates the first times they use because they get sick from them and dont develop the taste for them that comes with continued use.

This thread has sealed the deal for me that Psychedelics are much better candidates for the substance of the month. They just breed much more interesting coversation, and have a more positive inpact on peoples lives.

Plus, Euphoric nod hasnt even come by to comment on the thread, I started for HIM! :)

Heres a great discussion topic, how is best for us future parents out there to teach kids about the benefits and dangers of drug use, especially Stimulant and Opiate use. I want to hear others' opinins then Ill throw mine in, as to not change anyones answers at all.


Just a note I mean by future parent that I really want to have a family ONE day, just not tomarrow :)
 
This is a subject my fiance and I talk about often, not just for drug use but in general. I'll post about it sometime when I have time to formulate a long response. :)
 
I think if I was ever a parent I would tell my kids about my drug use and what I saw and experianced just try to give them some perspective on the whole thing. If they choose to go that road I would try and teach harm reduction. Most people think that is irresponsible but from personal experience if you wanna do drugs no one is gonna stop you not your parents the goverment ect all you can do is hope they see the ligt before its 2 late.

Yeah, it was worth a shot though, wasn't it?

As for good trip-report threads, I think just about any drug could produce a good one. But, it takes more writing skill to write a good one on non-psychedelics, such as opiates or coke, which don't produce visual/audio effects. A typical opiate high is just about euphoria, and there are only so many ways one could describe that. That's why the best opiate reports are heavily based on the situation/environment that they were used in. CTdope wrote a couple good opiate trip reports and there are tons of great ones on Seedless'(blahblahblah) blog.
