Sports related injuries- I'm falling apart

My family Doctor has proven pretty useless when it comes to bones and he will certainly put me through to a specialist and I'll wait up to a year to see him (A whole year to go insane with??).

Wont a support weaken my wrist in the long run? Everything people have been telling me has been geared towards strengthening the joint.

I'm guessing wear it when biking or doing anything known to cause grief and then have a really strict exercise routine to make up for it? It does pop and crack quite a bit now when I stretch it out and I've never been able to crack my wrist.

Thanks for the pain advice- that's exactly what I'm going to do.

For the knees, it could just be a training error. Stretch more before and after biking.
Good call, I stretched twice as much as I usually do today before my ride (and then stretched after which is something I never do) and I haven't even thought about my knees till now :)

It's ok I'm Canadian =D We've been putting up with this for a hundred years already.
