Sports bras and how about them

All ladies who work out would know how important having the right support for your bust can be.

I would like to hear what styles and brands you've tried and which ones you like. Small, medium or large busted ladies - it doesn't matter, I want to hear about your experiences both good and bad.

My current sports bra is a Triumph TriAction (image below);

What I like: it has underwire; the material is quick drying (minimizing sweat); it's lightweight; it feels solid on my body; it keeps my breasts controlled and limits movement.

What I don't like: the straps can feel bulky; it can feel very warm during hot weather (50% of the year here in Brisbane); my nipples can be visible through some tops I wear the bra with.

Now it's your turn!

Note: this is a serious thread and no tom-foolery will be tolerated. Yes, breasts are great, but this thread is solely for the discussion of sports bras and associated topics. If you want to extol the virtues of breasts please make your way to the Lounge. :|

what i hate about sports bras is uniboob! ugh. so sweaty and uncomfortable.

i own this style in about 5 different colors:

but they are getting to the point where I need to retire them and get new ones. Nice find cotb, I like the ones that have separation of the boobage. Although that underwire is uncomfortable to wear for a long time, while sweating heavily, etc. I also like wide straps so that its comfortable to wear for a long period and its not digging into your skin after awhile. I like the material though because it dries fast.

So I recently 'upgraded' my sports bra to the new Triumph Tri-Action;

It has better separation and cup design which completely avoids cleavage, and has thicker stronger straps for better stability (something I didn't love in the first generation, but I guess it makes sense).

I like the addition of colour in this version, but I would have liked to have seen it as a little more lightweight. But of course I understand to hold the ladies in, it needs to be pretty rigid.

I like that this range goes up to DD cup sizes - something none of the other bras in the sports store I was at did! 8(

I like the way the material this bra is made from breathes, and the underwire is padded enough that it doesn't dig in at all.

I am always searching for a sports bra with a central strap in the back that supports and fits my cup size, but alas I think it's an impossibility. :(
