I would like to hear others share experiences of genuine spiritual trance, if this is an acceptable topic.
And by "spiritual trance" I don't necessary mean an over-powering state when you are completely taken away from this world but can might as well be a light, hypnotic state, where you feel in contact with the spiritual world, or certain spiritual entities, and a raise in your energy-level and emotions.
I just felt compelled to share one I just had, although this will only appeal to those with a positive spiritual orientation and true believers. Or at least the way I see it, there are "positive", "negative", and "neutral" spiritual individuals and we can't really understand each other and waste far too much time arguing, so I don't really want to do that.
Anyway, I don't go into strong spiritual trance states quite often, but this came on quite easily. I was just reading some material written by an occultist, which was of the kind that is obviously designed to turn people away from God and positive spirituality and into Atheists or "Satanists" (of some kind of negative spiritual orientation). Even as I am writing this I feel an attack like being stabbed energetically in the heart just for pointing out how this is going on. Either way, when you have seen enough examples and have had enough of your own spiritual experiences it becomes obvious.
It made these ridiculous claims like all religious ideas are lies (when it's much closer to the truth they are a mix of truths and lies) and that it's God who is the real "Father of Lies" and not Satan. Those are just two examples, but you get the general idea of the direction it's going, and it's just completely crazy. So it just made me laugh and think "So who do you think has created all our souls and the entire Universe and sustains everything? Who has made all the positive things come into being and brings all the love and happiness into the human soul?"
And it just immadiately made me feel a strong connection with God, fall into a kind of trance-state, where I could see God's face (which I always imagine as the most beautiful thing ever in pastel-coloured light and just the sight of it fills you with bliss, not to mention the euphoria of connecting with the consciousness that lies beneath that visual beauty). It also filled me with idea like my role is to be a servant of God, that I'm supposed to be one of His advocates, and assure people of His existence and goodness (not that that makes me very unique, hahah, we are very many here right now with an expressed positive orientation, at least 10%, who all have the same role if we can wake up to it.
At the same time there are also around the same number of those with a negative orientation who are here to provide the negative choice and test us (even the most positive souls are tested and misguided by them). I think they are here simply to bring evil or the opposite of good into this world, that is the whole reason for their existance, so they are doing the right thing (for them).
But the majority are the "lukewarm" souls that Jesus always talked about. The ones who are spiritually uninterested or lazy. They are the younger, "baby-souls", basically, who are closer to the animal-level. While the older and more advanced souls will usually be very aware and interested in the spiritual dimension and have an either positive or negative orientation (lean more towards love and peace or aggression and hatred). And we are kind of here to "prod" the more immature souls, wake them upto spiritual reality, and make them make a choice.
I think these were the most important thoughts that filled me, or the most important to be aware of. Also, I would like to say to the more mature souls: First, if you are in the minority of advanced, positive souls on Earth, count yourself blessed and lucky. Though it's really mostly a result of your advanced soul-age and own efforts (i.e. just a natural product of spiritual evolution - and at some point we will move on and the "lukewarm" souls will take over. I don't know all the details of this exactly, but I believe we all have our own choice and no-one are created to become negative souls (though on Earth most are in a conflicted state which can be vert painful).
Another important thing for old souls to keep in mind is to be humble, don't have TOO much faith in yourself, but realise you are fallible and to listen and seek guidance from God and other people (even the younger ones can have things to teach you, for instance, they can be more down-to-earth and realistic). This is a real problem for many of the advanced spiritual souls, that we tend to have too much faith in ourselves, or be impressed by our superior spiritual level, energy, understanding, capacity for love, happiness, creativity, etc. This can be all good and valid 90% of the time, but our positie qualities can also make us justify our negative qualities (our when we go through negative periods).
This is really dangerous and there is a real capacity for madness. The higher the intelligence and greater the creativity, the greater the capacity for madness, as you're very able to create your own little world that makes complete sense. It's just that intelligence doesn't equal truth or reality, so just because you can create a belief system on a high intellectual level (with almost no holes in it) doesn't mean that it's real.
Now I think I've said enough and that this will be understood by those that it's meant for, or are receptive to it. It's not meant as criticism or judgement of anyone, or any kind of persuasion. The impulse I had was just to provide inspiration. Fortunately, I've now attained a strong enough positive identity that I feel unable to use violence on another consciousness in that way and feel the need to respect it either way, also because is God's will and I'm starting to give up my will for it.
God doesn't force you, you have to choose to do it yourself, this is what is the hard thing. Otherwise, you would immediately find yourself in a state of involuntary spiritual ecstacy. He just respects us enough not to do it aginst our will.
Also, the "ecstacy" you get from drugs is nothing compared to the ecstacy you get from re-union with God - only the initial times you experiment with a drug are in any way comparable to it as it kind of tricks your consciousness into beliving you have reached or moved closer to that state.
