Spirit Boards

I am curious to know if anyone of you had experiences with using Ouija boards or any tools to call in spirits. Would you ever participate in a Seance? If you have how did the experience affect you?
 
I came home one night to find my roomates on shrooms in the back yard burning the Ouija in in the firepit. They were all PTSD and wouldn't talk about it. I should ask them what happened.
 
I didn't do this, but I was with someone once who used a pendulum and a paper or something that had commonly known "ascended masters", and perhaps others, and then also letters that somehow this pendulum would be around/point to give messages (from whatever spirit).

I seem to remember it saying "Trust" as she interpreted "trst". The pendulum seemed to encircle these letters.

The entire time a strong "bullshit" was going on in my head. I was laughing at the absurdity. I don't remember how this connects, but the master that came was Jesus, and he apparently was laughing about something. She also said he only showed up once before. His laughing I felt was with me, if it was real. I identified with his laughing. It was stupid, this divination, or so I felt. But, I always fight myself. I'm agnostic to my assumptions. And, he may have been laughing for a different reason. Most likely. I don't now call it bullshit.

My impression of spirit boards is that they are an intentional tool for what people can already do, given their own will power. Using a board to have them spell it out is way more technical and complicated than just listening in with clairaudience.

That said, I think contacting spirits is a fool's errand. I have no wish to invite a cling-on into my life, whether they are a human or some other kind of astral low life. Whatever their issues are, are not my problem.
 
Given how selfish, manipulative and deceitful humans can be, what makes you think spirits would be any better? I prefer talking to animals because we don't understand each other and it's better that way.

Not funny though, but LOL.

My personal manifesto #6 of my starcraft is Never attempt to contact or harvest the energy of any other spirits besides the one creative spirit that harmonizes within us all (I.e. God) and the power we have inside ourselves (a part of that same spirit), as they normally do not lead to a good place. I have only heard bad stories.
