Anyone seen the sixth and latest season of the masterfully gritty Spiral?
set in Paris? periphery, away from love and perfume and designer fashion, into the crowded, diversified concrete jungle of the parisian suburbs where clouds form from the perpetual cigarette smoking and the streets smell of burnt rubber, while car alarms shriek in accordance to the rhythm of the streets inhabitated by alienated groups who long lost their trust in the police.
As usual, we get a the wire-esque overview of the french criminal and judicial systems, as well as the view from the streets. The case this season made it one of the best, if not the best season of spiral, which says something, since spiral is one of my all-time favorite tv shows!
