Hi, was just wondering if anyone else ever got that speedy type feeling from oxycodone? Sometimes it makes me tired but more often then not it makes me speedy. Not like a coke speed, but just a get up and go go go feeling. I wish that it would make me more relaxed because i have some anxiety issues. But its not the case for me, was just wondering if anyone else experienced this because lots of ppl tell me it just makes them loopy and sleepy. thanks in advance.

Oxycodone does have a stimulating effect on some people, especially at lower tolerances/dosages. I know I experienced it a lot more when my tolerance was lower.

A lot of people seem to get a stimulating feel from oxycodone. Not sure why, but I've seen people post about it a lot here.

For me, I find that depending what mood I'm in any opioid can be stimulating at the right time.

Im one of those people too, roxis keep me moving through the day, other meds have me dragging ass, like I just went back on methadone cause the pain is getting worse, and I cant get fentanyl any other way but the patch so methadone is the strongest thing I can get and Im dragging ass. I was taking 240 of roxis, with 120 opana er, now Im taking 150 methadone, and Im in a fog but pain free...

Out of all the opiates, oxycodone is known to be one of the "speediest", and out of those I've tried I am in agreement, BUT all opiates bring me up. Even if I am nodding out, I am up, boosted if you will. They aren't like other CNS depressants that are GABAergic, or like stimulants either. They are extremely unique, and extremely enjoyable.

I actually get up & start doing stuff on valium. (not temazepam though)
would be good if u had valium to slow u down cuz oxy would be good if it was just slighly more sedating. im not sure .. maybe if they had a hydrocontin pill it would actually be better

I find buprenorphine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and kratom to be the speedy opiates (of those that I have tried)... Heroin and morphine are among the more sedating ones IMO.
