Speed

I'm gonna be using some high quality speed this weekend and I was wondering first of all what kind of effects it has with alcohol or with the body in general. negative effects that is. I also want suggestions as to what I should do while high, I will be at a party but perhaps there are more specific activities that I could partake in? thanks
PS if you could post your experiences as well that'd be great, I'm not talking prescription amphetamine but street speed.

Are you American? If so I am going to assume by "speed" you are referring to crystal meth, but correct me if I misunderstand...
Meth effects:
-positive: e-like skin sensitivity, but not as intense by any means, euphoria, clear-headedness, talkative social feeling, lots of energy (feels like you could go out and run a race), increased libido/horniness for some
-neutral: pupil dilation, time speed up, increased heart rate
-negative: jaw clenching (can be pretty bad for some, worse than on e by far), caffeine-like jittery-ness, restlessness, paranoia, need or percieved need to go to the bathroom frequently, shaking (pronounced and severe jittery-ness), short term memory loss, dry mouth
Meth w/ alcohol: I haven't done this personally, but many love this combination. Things to watch out for, though --
- drink lots of water, because both meth and booze are very dehydrating, and you don't want to overheat (this especially applies if you are dancing and/or are in a insufficiently ventilated venue)
-don't overdo it -- meth is a CNS stimulant, alcohol is a CNS depressant. The meth will make you feel less drunk than you really are -- so you will think you can drink more than you actually can -- but then the meth will wear off and you be smashed.
-toxicity -- I believe the meth/alcohol combo is more toxic than either drug on its own -- so really, don't do too much of either (but especially alcohol) if you are combining the two.
Be safe, use moderation.

I, personally, don't like to mix meth with alcohol. Like the previous person stated, it does make you feel less drunk than you really are, so you drink more. And if you are like me (don't drink hardly EVER), then the next thing you know you are in the bathroom puking your guts out because you didn't think you where drunk. So just remember that even though you may not FEEL drunk, you very well may be.

Personally, I'd suggest mixing amphetamines (or apparently speed) with weed. It's funny, cause usually I don't like weed all that much but this mix makes an AWSOME feeling.
Don't bother drinking...you probably won't feel the alcohol at all until you come down from the amphetamine.

Weed is the way to go. Not even a lot. Pack a onehitter every once n' a while, pull a few rips, do a lil' more tweak. It adds to it. Just not too much. A little seems to add a lot to it, for me.
Or, I'm nuts. Either one is possible.

I've got to disagree with the above posts..
Speed (or Meth..) + Alcohol = WICKED!!!
It's one of my favourite combinations..
I usually have a few beers (enough to get me tipsy).. then down a full point of speed...
The alcohol takes the edge away from the speed.. leaving you feeling really good.. From then on in, I drink at a fairly steady pace (I know my limits).. Be warned.. there will be a BAD hangover/headache the next day..
But I would steer away from this combo if you're an agro drunk (ie.. tends towards anger when you get drunk..).. As it can lead to trouble.

If your going to do what you call "high" qaulity speed...assuming that you are refering to meth,Shards, or ice...i would most likley say to smoke it....if its just some $20 dollar quarter shyt, break out the tinfoil, if it is some shards or ice break out the chalet or hot rail....some of the negative effects though are
*Uncon. muscle spasams
*slurred or studdered speech
*MAJOR increase in pupil dialation (can last until good amnt of sleep is achieved)
*dizziness
*headache
*Dry heaving (stomach may feel detached from rest of body)
*Hallucinations
*restlessness
*skin discoloration
*paranoia (hearing things or seeing things)
*day after complications (getting up fast and almost fainting, inability to sleep, feeling scatter brained, having that cracked out..dont wanna do anything feeling)
*i dont know about others but when we smoke around here, everyone that smokes...lets say if we were at a party, we would all pretty much lock ourselves (us smokers) in a room and smoke till its gone or all night long....so i would have to say that it does cause a lack in socialability with people not interested or using speed/shards...

I would have to tend to agree with riichiee on this one. Make sure you stay-up to go to the night club after this one. Pills & alcohol can be relatively dangerous in *my* experience. However I have never had any negative feels after speed & drink. Perhaps this is just my tolerance.

I'm in the speed and alcohol club too. In my opinion, there's nothing like snorting a few lines before heading out on a pub crawl. You get all the nice warm intoxicated feeling of the booze - but without being a slobbering drunk that makes a twat of himself all night long

Thanks for all the info, another question, do amphetamines and SSRIs interact with each other in either a positive or negative manner? thanks-I'd like to hear more first time experiences if any-yea it is Shards I know that for sure.

You more than likely won't even feel the effects of the alcohol. So unless you're getting it for free, save your money for more crystal!
