speed pills

What kind of amps are they normally? Meth? I've only came across them a couple times and they looked like e pills. And they were the same price as an e pill. Just curious because I wanna try to find some for a night out to a club/bar but don't wanna do something like crystl meth.
 
Strictly speaking, speed refers to amphetamine or methamphetamine.

It's most likely the clandestinely produced pills (ie, look like E pills) sold as being "speed" would contain methamphetamine (though they could be BZP, amphetamine, or some random RC - just like E pills, you have no guarantee of what they are). Not very common in the US, except when sold as E. I believe this is what the OP is thinking of.

Diverted perscription "speed" would be adderall (3:1 d-amp : l-amp), dexadrine (d-amp) or desoxyn (d-meth), or from sketchier individuals, any other perscription stimulant, like ritalin and the like. And these would of course look like professionally made prescription pills, and would likely not be sold as "speed", but as whatever pharm they are ("addies", "dexies", etc)

Powder sold as "speed" is usually meth cut to hell with inert ingredients.

Desoxyn would still be considered "speed" because its an RX. Ice and crystal are in reference to methamphetamine produced in labs because it is in a crystal form ready to be smoked (or injected or to be snorted). There is street speed but mostly in the U.K. Its not methamphetamine but rather racemic amphetamine (d/l amphetamine) just like Adderall but its not pure. So Adderall is in fact more potent than street speed because its pure.

Adderall might be pure amps but it never did anything to me but give me high blood pressure & make me sleepy if you can believe that. Also, it makes me very hungry which is opposite of what most people get from it.

Real street speed is alot more powerfull then adderal/dexedrine. A benefit to dexedrine is it tends to have alot less side effects then real speed. I find it amazing how dexedrine is quite strong and will keep you up, yet real speed is so much stronger. It's like watching a bomb go off in slow motion. If your getting .1 of speed and it's 70% pure that's about 70mg's. In which you can snort/smoke/shoot whatever.. You would have to take 7 dexedrines to get that and the street stuff would still be stronger sense it is after all meth lol.

No, that is wrong. Methamphetamine "is not" speed. Some people will call it speed but that is the wrong term. The slang "speed" originally came from RX amphetamines. It came from bikers who would take it to stay awake. Nowadays we have more powerful stuff like methamphetamine but street "speed" is still sold but mostly in the U.K. Street speed is the same thing as Adderall - D/L amphetamine. It is less pure but it may have a higher percentage of the D-isomer, as Adderall has 75%
