Speed, Magnesium, Calcium & Side-Effects

I just bought Calcium and Magnesium pills thinking that it could help muscle relaxation after a speed dose... Actually, I was interested in magnesium only but the brands available at my drug store always mix calcium and magnesium in a single pill. Each caplet contains 333mg of calcium & 167mg of magnesium.
The problem is that I'm not sure about potential calcium effects when taken w/ speed... does somebody have tried it before? I saw on a previous post that calcium is the antagonist of magnesium so it could produce unwanted effects... is that right?
By the way, do you guys have any other suggestions about compounds that could possibly reduce speed side-effects?
Thanks!

Hey man, calcium and magnesium aren't used for muscle relaxation. They are used as vitamins or minerals as dietary supplements. In other words, you won't feel shit in terms of relaxation but they will probably help out with your comedown since when your body's on speed it uses up all it's energy quickly and so depleates it of minerals. So if you take one or two of those, you might get your body to restore it's level of minerals faster and have a slightly smoother comedown. If you want muscle relaxation, buy a bottle of the herb Valerian, which actually IS used for muscle relaxation and sedation. Take around 500-1000mg and it's like a codeine buzz but more natural.

Raol is confused; ignore him.
It is true that it is better to have just magnesium instead of the cal/mag mix, but if you bought the stuff anyways, you can still use it. Remember that around 1000 mg of magnesium is what you'll need to temper the stimulant side effects.
As for other vitamins etc that reduce side effects...l-deprenyl (selegeline) is a prescription drug (also available from overseas) that protects the brain (particularily with stimulant use) and prevents some of the side effects. You would take a dose or two on the comedown.
Other than that, it's a good idea to take a lot of vitamins after tweaking to combat brain damage and improve your recovery time. Alpha-lipoic acid, selenium, vitamin C, vitamin E, and mixed B vitamins are especially good.
Good luck...
