Ok so there was a group of about 6 of us watching southpark, a few spliffs had gone around, nothing out the ordinary for most of us. Then out of the blue, 1 of the more frequent users started snoring really loudly an we all suspected him of being sarcastic as it wasn't a very exciting part and carried on watching the episode, meanwhile he was still snoring an we start looking at each other again and then all of a sudden he goes into a spasm, limbs going all over the place and managed to boot me in the head >.<

Anyway my mate sitting next to him restrained him to which he woke up groaning (as my mate had him in a weak headlock asking if his face had subsided at all thinking it could be a stroke or something but no signs) and not knowing what was going on, we unrestrained him and asked what happened and he was just as confused as we were :s

Really worried me and i was just curious to what may have triggered this? hes been a regular cannabis smoker for years now and then to all of a sudden get this seems very odd? i had been with him all day and know he didnt take anything else, no asthma or anything... very odd. any advise or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance

He should probably see a doctor...

People have seizures for a very broad variety of reasons, I wouldn't be too quick to point the finger at the spliff (though if he is not a usual spliff smoker, and has a very reduced natural seizure threshold, the potentiating effects of THC on nicotine and vice versa may have set him off)

either he has a thing for cartman and he jizzed his pants, or the cannabis could have been laced with something - most likely a synthetic cannabinoid.

get him to a doctor.

you dont want his next smoke sesh to be his last.

There are a variety of sleep disorders which sometimes cause the afflicted to lash out in their sleep. There are plenty of documented cases of people attacking their spouses in bed all whilst asleep.

People have even murdered others (questionable) and had sex (verified) while sleeping. Granted, it's not common at all, but you friend may have REM behavior disorder, or something similar. Though, you say he didn't have a clue what happened, so perhaps not.

Should probably take your mate to a doctor, describe the symptoms, and include the fact that he smokes marijuana.
