Spacing out rolls to get the longest ride in one night question?

All,

I was wondering what advice you could give to maximize the amount of time of rolling/feeling good (doesn't have to be rolling hard all the time) in one long day and night. How long should you space them apart? Is there any reason not to pretty much come all the way down and then re-dose and come up again like a couple of hours after the "goodness" has passed. Also in your experience how many/long before you just start kinda feeling smacked out (I have read of experiences that people just start feeling real speedy after a while and not really rolling anymore)?

I generally space them out by 4 hours if I want a long roll.

Thanks Maz,

And say I wanted to only do 4 and wasn't too concerned about how hard I rolled, would it be okay in your opinion to do 4 with 4 hour spaces I.e slow roll for like 12 hours?

^^^ I recently did that (with 3.5 pills) and let me tell you it's really not worth the comedown. I rolled for 12 hours alright, but the next few days were crap. Redosing more than twice is generally not worth it at all. I usually take no more than 2.5 pills and I roll for a decent amount of time (redose every 3 hours or so). So if you want to be rolling til later, just try to hang in there and stay sober for the first couple of hours, because trust me, you will enjoy yourself just as much and your body will thank you.

Yeah the comedown may well be worse. The other problem is if you dont actually get past your threshold on one.

I agree with the staying sober idea...........plus it helps build the anticipation.

Redosing once or twice might work out, but past that it's just bad. Even after one redose, you'd probably be pushing it. You don't want the bad parts outweigh the good parts of your experience.

I can tell you that redosing once you're down is not worth it. In my experience, I felt more of the speedy, uncomfortable effects and never actually rolled again. But like everyone else said, if this is an all day/night festival type of event, you're better off holding out for most of the day. If it is for an event, maybe time it around the artist you most want to roll for.

And keep in mind that even once you're down, you'll most likely have a good afterglow. So if you did want to roll early on, say 3pm-9pm, you could easily roll nicely for 6 hours and then just feel happy and nice for the rest of the night.

Wow, thanks a million for the insight guys!! I think I might have unwittingly screwed my time up had I not asked and u guys not been so insightful!! I will definitely hold out until later and then just do it all properly and as you say, the anticipation will probably make it better anyway!

Much PLUR!!

Oh, the anticipation is everything. =D I'm building up the anticipation for my vacation in 3 weeks. Visiting my best friend for her college graduation. I haven't rolled in 6 months, and I've been on Bluelight since I've bought the plane ticket...just building up the anticipation of rolling, and when I do roll, it will be a glorious one lol.

Honestly, for the best experience (in my opinion) I would double or triple drop (depending on the strength) and redose one pill at peak, and rail a pill at the peak. This is the only way I find that I really attain anything close to a 'roll' after redosing, it always feels much 'speedier' otherwise.

Personally, I do not redose at all now. I drop, and then I roll as hard as I can, and I tend to have no problem even into the next day tapping into that mindset. I do my best to learn from my rolls, and am always social for a couple of days after.

Perhaps the afterglow thing is the best for you. It will make the roll more manageable overall, as far as comedown is concerned anyway. :)
