Space Laces the 'new Datsik'?

I haven't really been liking the recent dubstep productions to be honest, even from all time greats like Flux and Datsik. I did however stumble upon this guy a few weeks ago, and it takes me back to when I first started listening to the 'big' producers all that time ago. He used to do Electro and kind of reminds of Figure.

I appreciate Datsik isn't the early dubstep style, but even now his style has evolved since his first couple years of releases. Shit now if you ask me. Space Laces takes me back to his first releases era. He's still relatively new I think so not a lot go on, but this song is insane :D

Datsik is proper old dubstep? His first release wasn’t until 2009. When I hear proper old I think the first few years of its existance, not 4 years ago!

Nope, that's why I said it isn't 'proper old'. Sorry my wording wasn't very clear, I've edited the OP accordingly. I also like earlier dubstep from Skream, Rusko, Caspa etc although it's not my favourite, and I appreciate even those producers from the mid 2000s arent even near the birth of the genre.

Datsik for me was the start of a new style era, which is now ending. If you listen to Datsik's early stuff to his new production he's taken a completley different route, and I don't like it.

2009-2011 saw alot of quality releases which haven't been matched since IMO.

datsik made one good track and called it Gecko. his sets all suck. the best track he played was Tron

Datsik has some sick tracks, apples, jenova project, he was the first dubstep producer I listened to.
And space laces is dope to though but I wouldn't say the new datsik, although he did team up with excision for destroid.

Datisik's fucking killed each time I've seen him. Posted song is all right, though I'm kind of over dubstep. It's so fucking trendy & shit. I'm going back to mah psytrance :D.
