So I'm sure most of you Floridians taking oxyIR have been notified by your pharmacist as to the shortage of oxyIR. In my experience it has mostly been the M's. Anyway, a few pharmacy's aren't even taking insurance anymore, and I believe someone stated something similar in another thread.

Does anyone know what is going on? This happened around the beginning of 2009 and it didn't last too long. Does anyone have any insight on to why this is happening, when it might be over, or anything helpful/relevant to the situation? I am hoping this can become a thread where people post any news updates in regard to the situation, since there are quite a few CPP's in Florida and even more opiate users, not to mention the pill capital of the world so this could and may have already have had an effect in other places of the country.

I am in a position where my script for 90 30's cost 90$ a few months ago with no insurance. I have since gotten insurance so it's not too much an issue anymore. My problem is the 90 does not last me nearly for the month, so I am forced to find these through alternative methods. Not to mention there would be NO WAY I could afford my script if they stopped taking insurance at 4-6 dollars a pop. If anyone knows any information that could help me or especially the situation as a whole, don't hesitate to PM me or post it up here or do anything you can to stop this madness!

Naturally, with pharmacy prices going up per pill, street prices have gone up even more so. Its getting out of control down here. Anyone experiencing anything like where they live in SFLA? I've noticed this most in the Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton area as well as Miami, FT. Lauderdale, and Broward County.

The other thread briefly states how Mallies are out of production until the end of the year. I was hoping for more of a discussion, news articles, etc. In addition, that thread mainly focuses on the insurance aspect of acquiring oxyIR from a pharmacy, where this was intended to specifically address the issue of the shortage

mallies are out of production thus there is less pills thus they are charging more that insurance wont cover so they charge cash

if you wanted the awnser then maybee you should have asked it in the thread that was already started instead of makeing more threads
