No, just like its not illegal to ask people in your neighborhood if anyone sells crack....buying or selling is the illegal part. Also, some things are not illegal that can be bought online.


However, I would just ignore you if some random person I didnt know started asking me about sources.

Why would you post this instead of asking a mod?
 
The question of 'legal' is arguable = by the laws where you live? Where the other person lives? Where the server resides? Where the site owner resides, since his name is hanging on the server?

Further to that point, we ask that anyone who gets PMs or other contact from members asking for sources to please forward those to the sr. staff so we can act accordingly. Our intent is to keep this site free and clear of drug trafficking, including discussing of where people can by drugs.


So, to answer your question = technically, there isn't a law broken so it isn't illegal. Is it allowed? No. Absolutely not.
 
There are certain things which are perfectly legal most places, yet would still be 'sourcing' if you asked in the forums.

It would be against the rules but not illegal.
 
I wouldnt recommend asking a mod for anything like crack or heroin.

If you make friends with a mod, MAYBE you could ask about RCs or natural herbs or something, but I wouldnt recommend talking about anything explicitly illegal.
 
I believe that sources of any kind Legal or Illegal is against the rules. So RC's and herbs etc wouldn't be acceptable either (IIRC)

I wouldnt recommend asking anyone here for anything like that. We get messages from other members all the time saying that they have been approached by someone by PM trying to buy or sell them drugs. Those people are then dealt with same as they would be if they had done it in public view on the board. Do yourself a favor and just dont take the risk, with anyone, member or staff.
 
It's against the BLUA (Bluelight User Agreement) to use Bluelight to buy or sell drugs in any fashion. Please do not put any BLer in this position. What you do off the board is clearly up to you. You could be subject to penalties at law in perhaps one or more jurisdictions. It is, of course, against board rules.

I've always recommended that if someone is approached for drugs on Bluelight, that they contact a staff member and let them handle it. I have been approached (ironically, for drugs I don't use) and referred the matter to the senior staff if I was unable to talk to the person in a reasonable manner about how stupid it is to buy drugs from strangers on a large message board. Common sense goes a long way in these matters.
 
If somebody were to ask me for drugs, I would assume they were law enforcement.
