Benzos Something Stronger Than Ativan?

I developed anxiety as I was going through other much more dire medical circumstances and started with Valium, it was quickly ruled out as too weak and I started Klonopin. I found that it made me way too tired and I switched to Ativan and it's been working great...Until the last two weeks or so.

I take it and none, NONE of my symptoms are being alleviated. I'm taking it three times a day, 1mg! (that's a lot, right?)

Is there anything stronger than Ativan that can be prescribed by a psychiatrist. Or is this a matter of going to the hospital or some other type of doctor.

To be clear, I am not asking for ways to con a doctor into giving me medication.

There are lots of benzos out there that people will respond differently to and even if you aren't asking how to con a doctor, this is a conversation regarding your medical care that should be had with a doctor. Its up to him what you're prescribed anyway.

If your medical treatment is insufficiently handling your medical problem, then really the only course of action that makes sense is discussing it with your medical practitioner.
