sometimes life deals us hands
that we want, but never see it coming..
for so long i just wanted someone
to call my own, someone
someone who is there for me
no matter what.
someone who i can tell
has given me their unconditional trust and love
and you may not know
but that means the world to me.
every morning when i wake up
i roll over and see your face
peaceful, serene asleep
taking a little slice of heaven
with you i your slumber
and it puts a smile on my face.
its puts a smile on my face
every time i see you
and every time we hug
and every time we kiss.
i know sometimes i may seem
distant, gumpy
but i'm trying my very best
to adjust to something
not quite like anything i've ever
experience before
but i know with you by my side
that no matter what happens
i will always have you
and you will always have me.
i now know i found that someone
i love you
