I already PM's this to one of the moderators, but it wasn't really about him, so In thought I'd take the time to post it here (my first formal complaint)
First off, I don't know how many of you have something personall against me, which would obviously influence the direction this will take.
At least I know Mel has spread a lot of hatred towards me after I misread one of her comments as seriously offensive like two years ago (well, she can be pretty abrasive) and felt entitled to stand up for myself, as even I have a limit. For me, this is long since forgotten about and I can't even remember what she said, but she seems to be one of those who really like to hang on to resentment and acts like she has a real reason to hold something against me. I guess I should have taken the time to sort it out whenit happened, but to me that kind of thing is just not big of a deal and if it was me I would just have laughed it off. So can we just lay this to rest now, please, as I've never had anything against YOU. Or do I need to get down on my knees and pray for your foregivness.
Anyway, I'm really struggling to understand why all my threads are closed all of a sudden, even without a valid reason, or sabotaged to the extent they have to be closed. So am I to understand I am no longer welcome to make threads on this board?
I have no problem with it being closed if there's a good reason, but sometimes it's really not, or nothing more than a quasi-reason or poor excuse, like closing down my thread devoted to artistic pictures of great beauty icons (which I thought both male and femnale readers might be able to appreciate) "Because it's redundant since we already have that "Tits nand ass" thread (which is frankly nothing like it). Then when I do try to post something THERE the first I hear is "Cut the crap and post tits already". (Erm, kind of speaks for itself, don't you think).
Hmm...so is this how the board is being moderated now, or was my subject matter so bad? I can't really see how it's inferior to a thread devoted to sexual female body parts and many of the obscene and moronic threads that are alive and well on the board.
As for my recently closed down thread in LSR I guess there might at least have been a semi-good reason for that - it was a bit too long and rambling for one thing. Then again it's not like we haven't had other threads like that before. And it might not have had any direct questions, but if you took the time to read it in depth it had lots of indirect ones, several calls for reassurance or warnings about where the relationship was going and what it was doing to me (like obsessing too much over my looks and relying too much on it for my self-worth), and actually many things that invited comment.
Granted, it was more of a "sharing thread", but there are many others of these on the board. Maybe it was the boasting about a great new botfriend who treated me like a princess that was what got to people, but I bet if a guy had posted about how he had gotten laid with this really hot chick over the weekend, or had a hot new girlfriend who would fuck him any time and wny which way he wanted, he would have just been gratulated on it.
So I wish you could have let it stand, especially as it's the first thred about this relationship in 7 months, and I might have the need to ask for some more advice in the future, and, truthfully, I'm not really that offensive or unrerasonable.
I also don't understand why my thread devoted to clips of hot guys couldn't just be left? Is the board really so male-centric or have I just made myself so disliked around here? Don't really get it as most of the time I'm actually trying to contribute something positive, to help people out, and am generally civil and don't start arguments. Or maybe many just resent me for my eloquence or verbal intelligence (which makes me very hard to win disputes with and also can't help making me sound confident - and everyone hates someone like that).
Anyway, I suspect when threads are closed down the one doing it are often high or at least under some influence of something and don't take the time to read through it properly, ot at least not to understand it in depth, and just go by whatever personal instinct it has towards the poster, subject matter, or whatever one of their little friends on the board has whispered in their ear.
Well, I think that was what I wanted to say, and at this point I felt entitled to make a complaint. Though I doubt it will make much difference. Guesss it all depends on what kind of mod you are - if you're a friendly, reasonable guy who try to be fair in your dealings, ora raving monster who try anything but and are just out to abuse your power.
So I guess we're done here. Though I'd appreciate SOMETHING in the way of explanation (unless I've just given it myself). If so, 1-0 to me).
