Some question on Green Dragon

I've never made green dragon before, but as I'm a fan of getting crunk, I plan to make some soon. My plan is to use 4 grams of high quality weed, but I'm not too sure about the type and quantity of liquor to use. I've heard everclear is good to use, and I can buy it in 200mL or 750mL quantities at my nearby liquor stores. How much everclear would be a good amount for 4 grams of bud?

Also, would using just regular vodka at around 40% alcohol work just as well? Would it work just as well with say rum or rye? In your experience what type of liquor creates the best tasting green dragon?

Also, what is the optimal amount of time to let the weed sit in the liquor for, and should you be periodically shaking the bottle?
 
ive heard that the long term method of letting the weed sit in the bottle for 6 weeks or whatever the length of time is, is much more effective. apparently its really easy to overcook the weed when you use the oven method and it turns to shit (which is why im apprehensive to try it, i dont want to waste an 8th)

but use everclear and shake the bottle twice a day keeping it in the dark at all times ( dont know why, thats just what ive heard)
i believe the time to keep it in is 4-6 weeks

Crunky, welcome to gd club. After decades of using cannabis I could attest that gd is the most satisfying way of taking it. It also excels in medical benefits, more so than any other way and including hash oil or cannabis extract.

For proper recipe search my post about gd on this board and adjust weights to suit yourself.
