I've read some places that it is not unheard of for some people to have absolutely no reaction to any tryptamine psychedelics. However, I haven't been able to wrap my head around the fact that my friend gets no effect from 4-substituted tryptamines, but does react to 5-substituted tryptamines.
Can anybody shed some light as to a potential reason for this, or perhaps somebody that knows somebody that has a similar biochemical situation?
I'm really curious as to how this works and/or why. Perhaps it's overactive MAO? I just don't know.
Thanks,
