Hey everyone, I was wondering if more experienced users to hear my problem and hopefully give some advice or shed some light as to why I seem to be getting it.
Anyhow a little bit of backstory.. generally have been smoking for a few years now roughly once a week. Over the last year i've found myself enjoying mixing weed with alcohol and seeing as it's a popular thing to do amongst my friends, i've been doing it regularly. Anyhow, I have tried a few other things including a recent nasty comedown to M1 which made me develop some anxiety issues. Never really suffered from anxiety however due to this, I decided to be more careful with my drug use.
Anyhow, since then i've been monitoring the effects of what I do have on my body specifically my heart (seeing as that is where my anxiety was mostly focused). Anyhow i've noticed that if I smoke a bit first (I don't smoke loads too fast, probably about half a gram spread over a few hours in a bong) and then mix with alcohol, my heart rate goes through the roof.. almost feels like my heart is doing triple beats per second, this has only been ested after being on the dance floor however it seems to stay at that rate for the rest of the night. However if I drink first then smoke, my heart is just somewhat faster than normal.
Obviously both can increase my heart rate but to the point where it feels like it's doing three beats per second, that seems wrong. Is this a possible normal reaction? Could it be my anxiety? Eventhough I don't feel anxious at the time. Or could it possibly be that the combination is screwing up with my ability to accurately gauge my heart rate? I also don't think it's a heart condition seeing as after my M1 comedown, I went for an ECG scan and came back as normal.
Anyhow, if you can make sense of my ramblings, i'd like to hear some thoughts or opinions on this problem. I've got a big party next Saturday where i'll be smoking then drinking again and tbh after two times in a row noticing this triple heart beat, i'm thinking of doing a boring sober night.
