hello members i am a long time reader on this site just now starting to post and post pics of myself so people on this site will get to know me. thanks. now to my question soma withdrawl, some say they don't withdrawl from it other say thay do. what can i expect i have been useing on and off for 3 years i was in a car accident and i get them from my doc problem is i love the way they make me feel more so then pain killers. so is this a mental thing when i run out or is there actual withdrawl from somas. i know the liver converts it into a addictive sudstance i just want to here all of your points of view

Do really find soma more enjoyable than opiates? Have you tried oxycontin? No matter how many soma tablets i take (and i have taken many), i cant squeeze a drop of euphoria out of them. They just make me tired, and all most always give me a headache. Even when combined with opiates, i dont think its that great, and would prefer a good benzo instead.

In anycase, the metabolite of soma, meprobamate, is a schedule IV substance, and can be addictive. But, if you do not take it everyday, you probably arent going to experience any withdrawal syndrome. How often do you take it, and in what dosage?
 
Soma better than opiates? I haven't heard that one before. I have read that there might be some very mild physical or mental withdrawls but nothing too much.

Negrogesic, is Soma really a schedulled drug? Could you please post a site with this info because I have heard from a few other people that this drug in fact may be, but am yet to find any legitamit source.
 
I actually find Carisprodol quite euphoric, comparable to benzo's but w/o the amnesia. Of course it doesn't stand a chance next to more euphoric depressants like GHB, alcohol, or short-acting barbituates--but it does the trick for me. More so than ativan or xanax ever did (Diazepam/valium was always my favroite benzo though).

I also find it pleasant to mix with opiates when i'm popping them for a change (usually when pills are the only thing around). Its ok for coke and meth come downs as well! There used to be carisprodol / codeine tablets floating around somewhere too.

Sinned, i dont think you're trying the right opiates if you like soma more. Diacetylmorphine (heroin) or oxycodone (oxycontin) will most certainly change your mind.
 
Soma is not scheduled, but like i said, its metabolite (meprobamate) is schedule IV. I suppose you could call it a loophole, but soma sucks, in my opinion. I would literally take a handfull (the ones without apap) and not get much out of it aside from a headache.......some drugs work better on certain people than others............
 
ni take both somas and percocets. i know you can experience withdrawl from opiates just wasn't sure if the some withdrawl was in my head are for real,no matter i got my refill so i am doing great, and somas for me well they kick ass put me in a i don't give a shit about anything mood total euphoria and mixed with the percs and klonopins i am golden, thanks for the info.and to answer some of the above questions it is not scheduled and yes i realized it was converted in the liver.
 
Ya i was wondering the same thing. I recently accquired 60 350mg tablets of soma and all they do is relax muscles, make me drowsy, and slow. They are decent when you have nothing else like in my current situation....however... when i found those somas, i also found 20 10mg of valium.... now thats another story :)
 
I came across about 90 and finished it in about a month. During this month I took a sizeable amount of benzos and ambien as well. I went off to college and pretty much went with NO pills. I figured it was for the best and I couldnt stand the depersonalization. I DID encounter withdrawl symptoms.. insomnia (often a few days w/o sleep), extreme mood swings, irritability, anxiety. Its been about 3 weeks now and I still feel these symptoms, just not as badly.

Honestly, I dont think it was the somas as much as it was the benzos. 3 years is a long time though, I'd definitely expect some kind of withdrawl.

All somas have ever done for me is make me feel like total ass... and very few substances have this effect on me. I really think they vary by person significantly.
 
Cardisoprodol is an UNSCHEDULED PRESCRIPTION-ONLY MEDICATION federally, however several states have individually scheduled it.

I only know about California in particular, where it IS schedule 4...

what difference does it make if i am making good posts and try to help people?
 
i like soma WAY more than hydrocodone. And it is far better than any benzo ( I have tried them all), But i have never had the luck to meet a short acting barbituate.

The whole thing with soma is to take 3 (thats all most people need) on an empty stomach, and eat some solid food like a minute afterwords. Hell yeah.

And I have taken dosages of up to around thirty 350mg tabs. It didnt get any better, just made me a reckless driver and blackout. Drinking with them is kinda fun.
 
^^^ wow.... prefering soma over vicodin. lol. well, whatever floats your boat. If you have some hydros, ill trade you my somas for them! :)
 
Soma is sooo cheap and readily avaliable on the internet. You can easily get 100 350s for 30$. Thats like a dollar a high.

Also, I think my whole family reacts strangely to opiates. Like vicodin doesnt work any better for my parents than normal tylenol. Well, thats what they say, and I feel the same way.
 
Whew- now I've heard it all - somas better than hydro?

I wished that were the case for me, soma is so easy to get and it's it cheap. I mean, I really really tried to like somas, but like others, it just made me tired, groggy, lazy, and muscle relaxed. Not that much fun -0 godd when I dont have anything else handyl.
