So a couple of months ago I ordered some Soma online. It wasn't the first time I had done this, so it was no big deal. The first time I tried it I took 3 or 4 of the 350mg pills. I had continued doing this on and off for about a month in combination with lyrica (900mg-1.5g) and klonopin (1-4mg) and had never experienced any problems.
Soon after, my Kpin habit got very out of hand, I made some plans to go into detox and then to rehab. Because of this my mother took away all of my benzos and had only dispensed enough to me as to prevent withdrawals.
The day before I was to go into detox I found a strip of 10 350mg somas in my room that I had forgotten about and decided I wanted one last good high before going away. Since I had already taken 1,750mg soma multiple times in the past without any issues, I decided that a couple of extra pills wouldn't be a big deal. So I popped 7 (2,450mg) somas before I got into the car with my mother and grandfather (he had spent the weekend by us and we were taking him back home that day.)
About 10-15 minutes into that car ride (we hadn't even made it onto the parkway) I lost all color in my face and proceeded to pass out. This scenario went way beyond the famous soma shakes. My mom pulled the car over, got out, opened the back door where I was seated, grabbed me, and smacked me as hard as she could across my face. I slightly opened my eyes, jerked my entire body, and then passed right back out. My mom got back in the car, pressed the OnStar emergency button (which are now so grateful she has) and they told her where to take me and that there was a bed waiting for me in the ER.
7 hours later I woke up with tubes coming out of pretty much every end of my body excluding my throat (Thank God I did not need my stomach pumped.) When I came to I turned over to my crying mother and I was confused as all hell. This was literally one of the most emotionally and physically draining and hurtful experiences of my entire life.
I want to write this report as a warning to the soma abusers out there. Believe me, I of all people know what it's like to want a good buzz and to assume nothing bad will come of just trying to have a good time; but people (especially the younger people on here) MUST REALIZE that you are not invincible. DO NOT EVER think "this won't happen to me," because that is exactly what was going through my head when I took those 7 pills. Please be careful with any drug that you consume and especially this one. A lot of medical professionals have told me that soma is one of the most common causes of an overdose.
PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID! Do not take life for granted. Life is a precious thing and to throw it all away for a good buzz is a mistake that no one should ever want to make; and if you do, whether it be on purpose or by accident, very few people (myself included) are lucky enough to have their life given back to them.
