We live in binary,
A thousand yes or no questions
Quantum queries from one objective perspective
To another.

Hazy images behind us and ahead.
We drift through time
With a trillion switches in our heads.
On off on off
Yes no yes no
One zero one zero.

A simulation,
A hallucination,
Random firings and dead connections.
A drunk and broken boy
Shivering on a bathroom floor.
A thousand worlds floating
Within the quivering shell.

A thousand computers
Running tests.
Little numbers living little lives,
Little lies,
And little dreams.

Do I wake up?
Can I wake up?

"a drunk and broken boy
shivering on a bathroom floor" particularly grabbed me, in it's context.
i can relate to this poem, it's occupying my thoughts these days - a very defeating concept.
"one objective perspective to another" i like that.
i enjoy your poem very much.
hope this protagonist makes sense* of the all encompassing, monolithic redundancy soon!

*no such thing.

The repetition and rhetoricals at the end remind me of how I write. I really really like this.
