Miscellaneous Sold as ketamine but feels more like LSD

I've been doing some "ket" from two different sources recently that seem to be the same stuff, but it feels quite different to the K I'm used to. More buzzy, leaves me a bit wired, seems to kick in slower and lasts longer, but the main difference is that it's trippy in a way ket isn't usually. It feels more like weak acid or low dose slow-release DMT to me. Some of the typical K sensations are there but others are not. I know there are different types of K but I think this is something else. Maybe some PCP variant? Has anyone come across anything like this?

Oh, and I'm not complaining. I love it. WAAAAAAAY more than the K I'm used to. I only got a bit to help me through an opiate withdrawal after a stupid few weeks back on the dope. Certainly helped, but now I just want to do this stuff every day. I actually said to myself out loud last night - "oh shit - you've fucked up, anon. You love this waaaaay too much."

It's such a wonderfully strange buzz. It has a bit of everything - trippy like classic psychedelics, with that trippy-wired feeling you get from LSD, disassociative like true K in higher doses, but also with an odd vaguely opiate-like warmth that's different to the K that I'm used to.

This, could also be MXE. definitely doesn't sound like Ketamine with what you're describing though. I'd get a Mandelin reagent kit to make sure you know what you're taking

Thanks for the response. I'm not particularly clued in on all new chemicals that are going round but I'll look into those. I read P.I.H.K.A.L. about 20 years ago, but the whole online research chemical thing largely passed me by, due to spending a few years in a junkie funk. I don't have any testing facilities personally though it's likely someone in my circle will so I may try to make arrangements. Whatever it is, I love it. I genuinely think this is my favourite chemical. It does everything to just the right degree. A bit worrying how much I love it, honestly. It's a bit like an MDMA, LSD/psilocybin, ketamine, cocaine, benzo, opiate mix with low-ish doses of each. Which is a mix I used to do a lot. This is basically an equivalent buzz in one package, and with its own special something. Truly blown away by how user-friendly this stuff is. Think I might have accidentally just swapped a brief return to the horrors of a smack habit straight for a new addiction. Damn. Do you know what the health risks are for frequent use of the two substances you mentioned?

Nobody is gonna be able to answer this. I am curious though as I love dissociatives. How long it the dudations and how long after your ladt dose can you sleep? FXE was my guess but it's becoming harder to get. I doubt anyone would be selling it as Ketamine given that it's typically more expensive than Ketamine

Duration is surprisingly long. Several hours after the last dose for sure. I've still been feeling some light psychedelic effects well into the next day. Think frying on acid but you've downed a couple of benzos to smooth it out - though I'm certainly more coherent than I would be on acid. I'm high now. Just finished off a teenth that I dipped into a tiny bit last night but mainly smashed this evening. As for sleep once you finish, hard to be totally sure, but I'd say you probably won't sleep the night you take it. Next night or maybe crash out late in the day if you have some pretty strong downers. Liquid kosh or something. Some of the evenings I've been partaking of some ridiculously strong Bolivian as well, genuinely the strongest cocaine I've ever taken, but only in very, very small amounts because of how strong it is, then balancing that out with valium and reefers. I was awake all last night on whatever this stuff is + the little bit of yayo, valium in the morning. Stopped all but the reefers by about 8am. Went through the day still feeling some effects. Got back on the mystery clown powder again tonight. No yayo this time. Still got that wired/frying feeling. Coming up to 5am here, just had some valium, about to roll a joint then take a couple of promethazine and try to crash out. If absolutely necessary I might add a quetiapine as benzos + quetiapine always seems to help end a trip that's going on a little longer than is convenient. I can add pregablin to that mix if absolutely necessary. What I could really do with is some liquid kosh that they use in psychiatric hospitals. Tried to connect with my link for that stuff today but sadly he wasn't around. If I don't sleep tonight (well, this morning) I sure hope he's around later today.

It's being sold at the standard rates for ket. Which luckily for me is relatively cheap (£50 - £60 a quarter ounce from old friend) unless I have to make an emergency top-up from my secondary source (£20 a gram from pedal bike trap house kid).

I should be more accurate, while there is a similarity to the frying on acid sensation, the visuals are more like super low-dose DMT or that psilocybin powder than acid. 4-AcO-DMT, I think? Or something similar? Lasts way longer and has far more of a buzzy cocaine vibe than that stuff though. Less body sensations at lower doses. The more ket-like sensations are at higher doses, but the the trippy buzzy feeling kicks in from relatively small doses and has some serious legs. More experimentation needed to determine comedown time when taking it from baseline without other substances.

Update at 6am, still buzztripping, but 50mg of promethazine and 25mg of quetiapine later I'm feeling drowsy enough that I reckon with the right music or guided hypnosis for sleep I can probably get some shut-eye. Just debating whether to eat first or not. I really like this stuff, my only worry is that the stimulant/trippy "frying" effect going on so long could pose temptations to return to heroin to come down. That would not be good.

I have not even tried MXE but I was like "sounds like what people describe MXE like" but did not say anything because speculation is not worth much anyway. if you can produce tests somehow it would be fun to know I had like 6 years back then certain empathogenic stuff that made me feel very good but I regret not having saved anything for tests to go furher figuring out what I should get in future or if the stuff I am taking is even sustainable to take 3 weekends in row, it was really irresponsible and stupid haha. and I could read the shit out of content in the internet but it still made me no wiser at all it could be anything from indoles to benzofuranes and further something I have not even heard of. my point is, rationally it is not easy-to-argument-for move to take all instead of saving just enough for tests to gain knowledge which with to navigate further in life.

There was some powder that made me vaguely wonky that was three letters that were similar to those that I had once back in my teens, and I have been up for two nights tripping pretty hard, so please forgive me. MXE may well be a good shout.

No way of knowing for sure but your description of it reminds me of FXE, It was pretty manic and stimulating stuff andI'd have difficulty sleeping 8 hours after my last dose. Ketamine sleep shouldn't be a problem more than a couple of hours after the last dose

I doubt it was DXM. DXM isnt usually sourced in powder form. Usually just over the counter. It was possible to get DXM in powde form from vendors back in the day, dont know how common it is these days. I've only gotten DXM powder once and I had to seek it out

Highly doubt it would be DXM as well, it just wouldn't make sense. I think i agree with it possibly being FXE, although without a test it could be any sort of designer chemical sold as ketamine or even a mix of 2-FDCK and MXE. You could speculate for days.

MXE generally is presented as a white or off white powder, quite different to the small glass like crystals that you'll get with ketamine (in my experience anyway) Do you remember what it looked like at all ?

MXE is so rare and desirable these days it's really hard to imagine it being missold as ket when it would command a much higher price sold as is. Would be a very happy little accident for sure.

If this actually is 2-FXE, it's best vaporized for sure. I recently infused some into a batch of sinicuichi with ethanol and it's fucking WONDERFUL. The risks associated with 2-FXE (as well as 2-FDCK and any other arylcyclohexylamines) are all the same as ketamine. Bladder/urinary issues upon overuse, short term memory issues, the normal ket side effects. Give it anywhere from a week to two weeks between use to keep tolerance low imo.

Luckily if you dont test it you'll never know what it is and you cant get addicted. I cant imagine snorting unknown powders off street in age of fentanyl, guess you like to live dangerously. I wouldn't be able to stand it, loving something and not knowing what it was.....

While I agree it's somewhat annoying and often a fruitless venture, it's nowhere near as bad as dumbfucks on subreddits about amphetamine or 2C-B posting blurry photos of a powder with a title like "Plug said it's does it look legit?". At least when people post these "what did I take" threads, it allows us to bring up the importance of reagent testing.
