Solar hits

after the cherry starts its more less the same burning action produced with a lighter, the exception is all those knuckle heads out their who feel the need to constantly torch a bowl on ever hit, FUCK YOU!! I do see how one would imagine with less butane stankk.
 
I have done solar toking before and it is awesome! I had no lighter but had a magnify glass and thought....hmmmm....I could smoke a bowl by using the magnify glass with the help from the sun! haha. I swear I never got so high from one bowl of solar toking.....all you need is a sunny day, magnify glass and a nice bowl of weed.
 
Been there done that. We used a magnifying glass and a half cut coke bottle to catch the smoke, was a two man operation.



The idea came too me and in one of those stoner moments I was totally blown away and had to try it.
Was kinda fun but don't have the desire to repeat.
 
i have never tried it but i have seen in a shop a bowl made from wood that had a magnifying glass attached for just that reason cant remember what it was called or what company made it...
i tried to search it on google and ebay but couldnt find anything or i would have posted a link

besides solar hits, if you want a clean smoke, I'm sure people have heard of torching a glass rod, or better yet- using an opened soldering iron (i think that's what people use) and just passing it near the bud.

caution though: don't think you can heat up any old glass rod. You have to be very careful or else it will explode. ROOR makes rods, along with a couple of other manufacturers, but even then, you have to heat it up slowly, and cool it down slowly.
 
Finally got a magnifying glass, but the sun is nowhere to be found thanks to the fog and snow switching back and forth....

but doesn't the weed stick to the rod when you move it away?

definitely gonna have to try this now, sounds mad sweet. how easy is it to light joints/blunts this way?
 
Once, when my friend and I were on a hike, we smoked as follows: we placed a bit of bud in a glass jar, screwed the lid on tight, and slowly toasted the bud through the jar with a magnifying glass. Once the jar was full of a hit's worth of smoke, one of us took a straw to the jar, and hit it! We got really blasted, too - so efficiency was obviously not an issue! %)

A recommended method of tokage, certainly, when the sun's rays are plentiful.
