Opioids Sodium Ascorbate (Vit C) for opiate withdrawal

Its assuredly not this easy. Giant doses of vitamin C will do nothing for severe opioid withdrawal.

Then again, ive never tried it so how can i be sure 🤔
I'm not expecting it to completely fix it, just make it a bit easier together with low dose loperamide and a low dose of kratom the first few days. My adventure with ULDN hasn't worked that great.(I remember writing about that with you in another topic) I somehow started to dose higher again, at first the ULDN lowered my tolerance it felt like. Could get by on 40-50mg of O-DSMT. Now I'm taking 150mg again and I don't really get that high... I've also upped the ULDN dosage tho, so maybe that is effecting how much I can feel the opiates. The ULDN is definitely making the withdrawals feel less bad already but they are still clearly there. I'm hoping sodium ascorbate might help to take the edge off even more. We'll see.

I have checked with my Doc - mega dosing Vit C is not a problem at all.

I can also attest to the fact that it works. I have stopped Suboxone four times using Sodium Ascorbate fine crystals (mixed in Gatorade). Loperimide will not mitigate diarreaha but as we know, it acts on opiode receptors in the gut (does not cross the blood brain barrier). It helps as does Magnesium for restless legs - you will twitch just bit but only when you think about it. It's how our minds work. Start the process the day before you jump.

Best of luck to all.

Are you taking 5 grams every two hours? Can you take a multivitamin mineral and eat alot of high potasssium foods i think that much sodium ions can disrupt the careful balance of potassium and other minerals
The sodium content of 5 grams Of sodium ascorbate is 500 mg.

Have you tried liposomal vitamin C? It doesn't cause diarrhea even in 10 g doses at a time.

I routinely take it 4 g at a time for up to 30 g in a day with absolutely no diarrhea.

Just thought you might want to avoid the diarrhea and maybe not as much salt?

What mg dose of Suboxone before jumping? You can use Lucemyra like clodidine but very expensive
What brand of liposomal cause all brands are not created equal.

What dose of immodium? A normal dose following the box instructions

Just as a side note, for some odd reason I decided to take around 20 grams of vitamin c (in crystalline powder form). Resulted in massive diarrhea for hours, completed cleared out my entire GI tract. My stomach entirely flattened (im lean but generally have some degree of belly bloat). It was insane. Completely cleared me out. But it also seemed to clear out all drugs in bloodstream, like phenibut and kratom, so it sort of induced mild withdrawal. Massive doses of antioxidants like took at some point become pro-oxidant. I think my logic of taking so much was to reduce hemoglobin or something to that effect.

Hang on OP sodium ascorbate is DIFFERENT to ascorbic acid... There are different types of Vitamin C.
the 2000 study was with ascorbic acid not sodium ascorbate....
If i ever get hooked on smack again, i want to try megadosing BUT WHICH ONE, sodium ascorbate or ascorbic acid?

You may want to try sodium ascorbate (vitamin C) which unbelievably works great to eliminate withdrawal symptoms. I took it for three days, starting with one heaping teaspoon (about 5 g) after my last dose, continuing every two hours until diarrhea sets in, then back off the dose some but continue to take the sodium ascorbate every two hours. You won't feel great, but if it works for you like it did for me you will not have any severe withdrawal symptoms at all. You need to take it every two hours, which means you may need to wake up every two hours. For me, the withdrawal symptoms would wake me up at about the two hour mark, then I would take the sodium ascorbate mixed with a little juice, and the symptoms would subside in about 20 or 30 min. I would not have believed that this simple substance would work to eliminate withdrawal from oxycodone (100 – 120 mg per day) but it does. You can purchase a bottle of the powder on <no vendor or price discussions>

I was taking oxycodone at this level for about four years. I have some ibogaine here at my house that I was going to use, but decided to give the sodium ascorbate a try. It worked, and in my opinion is easier than the ibogaine. Certainly less expensive.

I have quit oxycodone and Suboxone about five times in the last 10 years. I have never tried heroin, but I understand that oxycodone is basically its equivalent. Obviously, I have trouble staying off opiates. However, for what it's worth, the sodium ascorbate has proven to be the best and easiest method to quit that I have found. Previously, I would have said ibogaine is the easiest method. DO NOT use ibogaine if you are taking Adderall or any other amphetamine because it will mess you up. I found this out the hard way the last time I used ibogaine and I was a mess for about a month.
Exactly what benefits have you had with vitamin C in withdrawal syndrome? Or rather, which effects were less accentuated?
It's interesting what you say, I'll definitely try it, but it's hard for me to believe that I can keep at bay the avalanche of norepinephrine that floods your body for days. Dopamine deficiency serotonin GABA and glutamate...
However, since it is a good price to try, why not?
This is the first I've heard of it.

Hi
It's not vitamin C , it's ascorbic acid and not sodium ascorbate and you need big bags of it too!

Read the article at this link:

http://docplayer.net/7955310-Attenu...he-administration-of-high-dose-vitamin-c.html

You have to start taking it (sodium ascorbate--not ascorbic acid) right after your last dose and keep it up every 2 hours.
That link doesn't work anymore, this is the article though:
and some more
