They have no reason to refuse so they do so, it seems that since they changed their Teva-Alprazolam 1mg to Mylan-Alprazolam 1mg....the Mylans are much less effective and don't even have the horrible xanax taste when you chew them. He didn't have brand name xanax 1mg, so I asked for 2mg cut in half, didn't have brand name 2mg either, he had .5mg brand name, i say alright fine and pay the double of pills, i got screwed there, double of units to pay for even if I get the same amount of alprazolam. They're brand name. I looked at them closely since I never had a brand name .5mg Xanax in my possession, had plenty of 1mg and 2mg ones 4-5 years ago when I was hangin' out with them no good kids 
Anyway, I see they say Upjohn 55.
Sudden confusion, Upjohn? They don't do business in Canada and hasn't Xanax been invented by Pfizer in all cases? I remember such details because Xanax is one of the rarely invented-in-america benzo, so there you go...Enlighten me, and yes, I feel a difference between the Mylan and the brand names, although the Tevas were pretty much just fine. It kinda sucks because the only company that's left that makes 2mg generic xanax bars is Mylan, and it's my intention to get 2mg bars at my next meeting with my psydoc, not augment the quantity of doses, which is still just 15 a month prn, 1mg feels like sugar pills, I gotta eat 1.5mg to at least feel something from them, but I noticed that if I'm not panicking, xanax is a lot less recreational...if that makes sense, if I try to use it like my valium script (10mg bid for GAD), it doesn't make me very chilled out and relaxed all day long.
