I was shooting belushis with my friend and his girlfriend. I did too fat a shot and went out.

The only thing that saved me was the bottle of 50mg naltrexone I had. Before we fixed I crushed half a pill up, tripple filtered it, and drew it up into a clean rig.

As soon as he knew I was out he IMd me with it in the shoulder (any non fatty spot should let it seap into your bloodstream fast enough to bring you back). I came to with him doing chest compressions and he was about to breath into my mouth I stopped him and said 'nigga, you gay.'

I was out for 5-6 minutes, my friend is a nurse, and he said id be dead if the naltrexone didn't bring me back. Afterward I had a pounding headache and a feelimg like a knife was being thrust into my gut (if you've had pw's you know what im talking about.)

With politicians debating the merits of giving narcan shots to any at risk individuals, why wait? We all probably know someone that went to rehab and got sent back with a bottle of naltrexone they never took. I probably have an abscess in my shoulder, I have a concussion and broken rib, and im pretty sure I threw up into my best friends mouth, but im alive.

Yes, speedballs. The name belushi caught on in some of cali cause its what killed Steve belushi

Belushi's, only time I've heard that was on an ep of drugs inc.. I've fell out once from a ball, never thought I would.. I think I told this story before.. I went to get my entire family food, but stop off to get a fix first, 0.4 + Cocaines, I got the ringer, was about to spark a cig, then I wake up soaking wet, probably slapped 100x. So I had to explain me taking 3 hours to get food 15 minutes away was due to me 'losing my keys' -.- Didn't go over well as you can imagine.

6minutes is long enough in a lot of places to have called an ambulance AND had them arrive.

I'm disturbed by lack of any mention of anyone calling an ambulance. Despite the naltrexone on hand.

The INSTANT someone drops, you call them a fucking ambulance.

I know a few people, that have lost people very close to them, because they failed to act in time. It's such a simple thing to do, I have a real hard time forgiving these people (for not making the call).

I know one guy, who lost his gf of 7 years, because she OD'd in a bedroom in his parents house and he was too fucking gutless until it was too late. He actually made calls to his mates, while she had stopped breathing, to get their advice.

Anyway, maybe I'm wrong and you just missed that part of the story, I sincerely hope so.

And I believe you mean 'John', not Steve. There is 'no' Steve Belushi.
You're right. Thankfully they had a vial of Naloxone, when I got hit with that (I think 3 shots, made me feel like I was lit on fire.. It really sucked.) It's all fun n games till you go blue =[

Finally, someone who kept up with that show, too. Good series, I enjoyed it. Although all those black dudes actin' hard were as much of a junkie as their clients were. Apparently prometh n codeine is the same as hareon, LOL.

Honestly though, I've only known a handful of people that didn't use their product.. The straight businessmen of the industry, those are the people who you want on your team.. Smart, no bouts of overzealous paranoia, ect. Just buy for $1 sell for $2.

Wow is right...glad you're OK. I don't know why more needle exchanges/etc don't hand out naltrexone...although I agree with mostly-human too, when its a life or death type situation, who cares about the embarrassment/other consequences? Call an ambulance or get the person into a vehicle if you have one, and GET TO A HOSPITAL. not worth someone dying...

Technically you are correct. But in real life where I live if you call an ambulance the cops are coming and people are going to jail
