Snorting xanax?

Well i did a search for xanax and only found 1 thread about snorting it and it had inconclusive info
Anyways someone give me full info on this please
What are the advantages/disadvantages to snorting xan as opposed to ingesting it orally?
For a xanax newbie what should my initial dose be... I did half a bar once which was 1mg and did not feel shit, i only weigh 135 pounds

Xanax isnt water soluble. It will get in your system much quicker if you take it orally.

I have snorted Xanax before. To me like with snorting anything it hit me faster, but not any harder than I would if I just swallowed it. The only advantage was the time in which it hit me. It doesnt taste that great either when it starts running down your throat or you try and hawk a loogie. UGH!!! Nasty ass taste. THis cant be good for your nose either. If your in a rush to get fucked up snort it. If it doesnt matter just take it orally. PEACE
ps-oh yeah try taking a whole bar this time, 1/2 bar doesnt really do much unless you smoke or drink with it. And if you do smoke with it it gives you a hell of a pleasant buzz, not too strong and not to weak. A nice chill level.

i find it hits me faster to when snorted,what i do is get my nose to run(make myself sneeze a few times) then snort it ,i like it like this it doesnt burn my nose when i do this,plus i NEVER HAVE A DRIP WHEN I SNORT IT LIKE THAT

Just dosed about 4mgs
2 mgs orally and then 2 by nose
Snorting definetly hits faster, but imo it isnt worth the drip
