Bupe snorting suboxone and lung problems

Check out my thread on efficient intranasal delivery. It details the problem and a quick device to allow you to snort (well... blow) to your hearts content without ever getting anything in your lungs.

Does anyone have any more information about this?

I've been snorting my Suboxone off and on for over a year, and sometimes I notice I cough up some mucus a couple days after I snort it. I want to stop doing it but it's the only way I can get a buzz off it. I know snorting pills or coke cut with talc can cause talcosis, which is really fucking bad, but I'm not sure if any of Suboxone's ingredients could do that. I mean, I know getting anything besides air in your lungs isn't good, but I'm just wondering what degree of damage Suboxone does.

People are just dumb, some girl around here almost died snorting her whole script in 3 days, it is for getting off of stuff. DONT SNORT IT take it as needed...godamn

This thread is going to go nowhere but speculation so I am closing it.

It is impossible to quantify the amount of damage pills will do to your lungs and nasal cavity. It's highly variable between people and depends on e.g. frequency of use, exact composition, snorting strength etc.

but do you think it could do a bad damage to the lungs by doing this?? i also smoke cigarettes, only half a pack a day, but if you think about it, that is not really that much smoking to where i should notice anything at my age(21). and i have only been smoking for 2-3 years, 1-2 years everyday. i'm just worried snorting stuff is damaging my lungs and the smoking is exacerbating it.

If anything, smoking cigarettes is damaging your lungs, that is for sure. Snorting Suboxone could be exacerbating it, but it's hard to say.

If you make a nasal spray solution and use a filter (ideally a micron fitler), there shouldn't really be any harm being done at all. Sekio summed up this thread nicely.

and no threads about snorting suboxone in particular(most just a ritalin one and oxy one).

orly?
