Snorting Ritalin

Just snagged some Ritalin from the cabinet at school where they keep all the student's prescriptions. Several 10mg tablets. A couple questions:
1) When taken orally, how does ritalin compare to adderal?
2) Any recommendations/warnings about snorting it? How much should I crush up without worrying about killing myself.
Any insight greatly appreciated. Thanks.

one 10 mg ritalin felt not quite as strong as a 10 mg adderal and only lasted 2 hours tops..
generally, i find ritalin has a much higher ratio of somatic : mental effects.. i popped 3 my first time and my heart rate was alot higher than adderal..

Ritalin is better when taken orally in MY opinion... snorting results in a shitload of powder and the effects are not overly different. I used to eat like 18 of the 10mg tablets a night - not a recommended practice but I was stupid.

1) adderal has a slight euphoric effect to it, more so than ritalin. adderal will also last longer, and in my opinion is just overall much better.
2) eating it will last longer. however, i like to snort it, hits you a little harder and of course much faster. but if your patient and don't like snorting shit than eating it would be the way to go.

If you want to avoid all the inert powder involved in snorting ritalin, and can get ahold of a syringe, prep the tab like your going to shoot it, but squirt the water onto a plate, dry, scrape, and snort. You get nice crystals, and it is, for the most part, pure methylphenidate...no binders or other inert ingredients. If your into needles, replace "squirt on plate" with "stick in arm".

^^That's not even close to pure. Every inactive in a ritalin tab is soluble in cold water. Not flaming at all but it sounds like what you described is a complete waste of time.

Are you sure? The inert ingredients, not counting coloring are: lactose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate; I know that when I did it, much of the shit got filtered out, and remained in the spoon. I would assume that the inerts ingredients in rit tabs are the same or similar to other tabs that folks shoot. I could be wrong, but I am speaking from experience, and I know that the final product was active, less a bunch of crap. BTW, I most definitly DO NOT endorse shooting ritalin tabs.

Also, according to the shooting guide posted about rits a while back, this (cold water) is the best way to prep the tabs for injection, as methylphinidate is freely soluble in water(rxlist)

Now, I don't know anything about extracting Ritalin, however...The reason we're able to shoot certain things, such as a Knoll Dilaudid, is because the ingrediants ARE soluable. We're not filtering them out, we're injecting them... They are safe to inject, unlike Oxycontins that have a matrix in them, that, while will get through a filter, are not disolved...That method may filter out some of the junk in the pill, but it probably leaves a great deal of junk regardless.

I recommend taking at least 30 mg, and I recommend taking it orally. It will last you longer and I don't think that snorting it does that much more. As for ritalin compared to adderall -- adderall is significantly more euphoric, and has fewer side effects over all. Definitely better than ritalin.

At any rate, if your going to snort them, the extraction still gets rid of a lot of the crap in them...Now, a q about knoll dilaudid...Is the entire tablet safe to shoot, including binders?

None of these are soluble in water. And cellulose can't even be digested by humans. If stomach acid has no effect on it, your plasma probably isn't going to either.
Just because a solution looks clear and passes through a filter doesn't mean that everything present in soluble in water.

You cant sleep on adderal. Ritalin is alot more trusting too.
