SNOO V8 - In the bathroom smashing glasses

Project sidecar has officially been shelved due to mechanical challenges, the sidecar not me.

I brought the old thing about 18 months ago for £150 from Fleabay and did a fair bit of cleaning and tidying, if I spent £40 I'd be suprised.

I just resold it and the buyer just picked up £460 ...what are people like :D

My friend told me I desperately need a weekend away, so knowing about my avolition and my tendency to get into trouble alone, he's booking accommodation for next month and we're going to Cork city. Can't wait to show him my family's auld gaff and a few other things he's been bored to tears about over the years.

Friends are wonderful. I think he's disappointed that I didn't choose anywhere more exotic though.

<3 He sounds like a very good friend!

I hope you have a great time =D

Thank you. Yeah, he's the best.

He put me up on his couch when I lost my girlfriend, home and dignity, and was using heroin. I felt I'd outstayed my welcome but his girlfriend told me he talks about that period being the most fun he'd had in ages.

Bless the man.

Your friend sounds like a very good friend indeed.

And that's the mystery of where you come from resolved. I couldn't place your accent, as it was quite unlike anything I'd ever heard before. I dont mean that to sound rude, it must just mean that i havent spoken to anyone from Cork before.

CORK IS EXOTIC!

Made my day that cheekbones :)

Ahh, so Sam has an Irish accent...? I assumed you'd always lived in England..

I worked with a fella from Cork for quite a long time, the first couple of weeks I spent a lot of time just nodding and agreeing as I got sick of, and him also probably, of me asking him to repeat himself.. Im fluent in Cork now ;)

I've spoken to Sam and he has this amazing mix of accent. Mongrel like most of us :D

Ha! Was he from the city or from the wider county? There are some heavy Cork accents. My father could place anybody to a certain town, village or part of the city. His own accent was fairly generic, flat, south parish Christian Brothers brogue.

And I was born and raised in England, aye, but I've not always lived here.

Kate kindly neglected to mention the fact I also sound like a stroke victim.

My cousin's husband, from Clonakilty, who is a Phd of some medical thing, is pretty much incomprehensible at times. And he's lived in Scotland for over 10 years.

Most of the time I just nod politely. :D

apparently saying beer can in an english accent sounds like jamaican for bacon :) but just had a lovely wee visit from my neighbour she homeschools her children so they were here I was over the moon to find out they are still playing with the dart gun things I got them for christmas, then I remembered I had ordered more darts which I never gave them as they were laying in a drawer so I got them out and was told they had lost most of the darts so they were really happy, my neighbour is not so happy though :D

I'm not to sure where he was from, I know he had a place in the city but he may not of grew up there.. His accent was fairly thick..

On one job we worked on together he got this other fella from Cork a start, his accent was even heavier so when they'd be sat down together chatting I couldn't understand a thing. I was actually able to understand more conversation coming from the local Jordanians and my Arabic is very limited to say the least :D

Snoo of today was seeing my lil one shaking his toochie on some proper techno rhythms, his dancing skills are just lol <3 =D
