This is my first post so if I didn't do something correctly I apologize in advance.
I'm currently being treated for major depression and today I was prescribed a new antidepressant called Brintellix (Vortioxetine). It's a very new drug, just authorized by the FDA for use in 2013. Apparently it's an "SMS," which stands for "Serotonin Modulator and Stimulator." Because it's so new and because it's under an atypical category of antidepressents, I was unable to find anything online about how it reacts to different recreational drugs and I was wondering if anyone who's been on it or knows anything about it could share some info on the subject.
For more information, I specifically have been prescribed to take two 10mg tablets once a day.
As for other antidepressants and how I personally have reacted to different drugs (I don't know if this helps at all), I've been on Paxil and hadn't had any adverse reactions to alcohol, and I've been on Pristiq and hadn't had any adverse reactions to alcohol, cannabis, methoxetamine, or vyvanse.
