Smoking when you're sick (merged)

Well my throat is feeling fine now I just am on the antibiotics and is that ok to be smoking with or will it make the antibiotics not work as well? Because I surely don't want to have this again and if I just have to wait till the antibiotics are done well then whatever because this is the 2nd time in a row i've had this due to the meds so I surely dont want to get it again or I think they might have to like have to do something to me i dont even know.
 
I went to tilburg some months ago..and there was this small shop named "xtra" which sells good stuff..so after my tests and before the holidays..i think i'm going to do some shopping again=)..
 
smoking will not be good at all for your strep throat...eat some brownies and give that throat a break.
 
not that this is in the aim of harm reduction but i used to always get strep throat, and used to toke shitty soap bar hash which is worse...

it took a view more days to heal, but i didnt care as long as i was high..
 
I am guessing i am wrong, but since marijuana smoke opens up your bronchial tubes, wouldnt it be good for strep throat? Or if not good, then how about wouldnt it be not bad at all?
 
Whether or not cannabis helps or worsens a sore throat or cold, smoking it is still bad. I had a sore throat the other day, it cained to smoke straight green weed, I had to mix it with tobacco or I cough for 10 minutes. Also, personally, if its a bad cold, with a pretty bad throat, I find smoking makes the cold stay longer. And it can really fuck your throat up for a week
 
well yesterday i was actually quite feverish and quite sick. ( i was feeling terrible as well ).
well since i couldn't do anything i smoked a few Js, it didn't reallly do much apart from getting rid of the headaches, but TODAY i feel so much better.
 
I found that for MYSELF smoking when you have a chest infection REDUCES the time it stays in your system. If i go hard on the buckets for two days, and cough my ring up, it goes away gradually on the third day...with antibiotics though it usually takes like a week to just start to go away.

I'd only recommend buckets and rockets but no bongs.

If you got alot of shit in your throat, chest, i recommend it, as coughing gets out alot of shit...but it might also put alot of shit in there :P

But hey, it works for me, and I get chest infections every 4 months due to my smoking habits.

i also get sick sometimes when i change the tobacco i mix the weeb with. but that's quite rare.
 
Smoking while sick?

Is it bad for your throat if you smoke while you're sick with the common cold (sore throat, runny nose, etc)? I'm sorry for the ridiculously assinine question but honestly my friends won't stop with the peer pressure 8) and this cold doesn't seem to want to leave. So have you guys tried it and had negative consequences?
 
I find that when I smoke weed with a cold, the cold symptoms are actually relieved for about 45 minutes(while i'm high), then when I hit comedown I feel twice as bad as I did before I smoked. Smoking may also increase the length of the cold..
 
thats weird that this thread came up right now. my lungs are shot. i cant breathe in all the way without it hurting/ i smoked a few blunts tongiht and i cant breathe at all. smoking jsut mmakes it worse
