smoking when younger vs when older.

how would you compare the high from when you were young, to many mny years later, im asking this because a mate told me he had a couple cones, after not smoking for a few months and then told an older dude that he tripped the fuck out and then that dude was like man i wish i could feel like that again!

this makes me wonder, does weed loose its intensity as you get older?
im guessing that smoking daily would cause this though.
