Smoking weed of a plate into a funnel??

I was seriously contemplating putting a little bit of bud on a dinner plate and inhaling it through a funnel.
This may sound like a stupid question, but would cutting the bottom off an aluminum soda can work as a funnel, or would that somehow collect the THC? I'm really tight on cash these days and can't afford to waste any bud. To those who say just get some papers, I'm getting some in the morning, but I can't sleep.

Besides this should be just as, if not more efficient.
 
Apples were my mainstay back in highschool!!
Right after lunch I'd save my apple and then skip the next class and smoke in the bathroom with this one sketchy other person who I never saw anywhere else except when I had my apple pipe and I'd share some of my pot with him.
He'd provide the cigarettes to mask the smell so it was a great little stoner team we had going.

EDIT:I also can attest to the fact that you can, in fact, craft a one-hitter out of two Fritos Scoops. You need to cut a little hole in the first Frito, and then use the other one as a mouth piece. I did that a few times in high school too.

Ha! That's awesome until you think of burnt Frito flavor tainting the weed smoke.

I think the only way would be to put the flame directly to a nug on the plate and then try to catch all the smoke with the soda can/funnel.

I don't think it would be too efficient, though.

wtf makes people think up shit like this before they think of a bottle bong or an apple pipe or whatever...

I don't think your plate/funnel contraption would get you stoned, no matter how much Sour Diesel or OG Kush or Blueberry you put on that dinner plate of yours.Other posters have mentioned some, there are many easy, simple household items that can double as smoking devices that actually work quite well. If you need more ideas, ask. But waterfall bongs, gravity bongs, and apple/veggie pipes are easy to make and work pretty well. You can smoke it straight out of the soda can, but that and foil pipes are generally pretty shitty and not as efficient as the others... just get creative... but not too creative ;)
 
if you ground up your weed real fine ad somehow heated the plate to the boiling temp of thc, yes it will work. i wold think that a skillet and funnel would work fine as well.

certainly not ideal.


come think of it, foil would also work.

So your esentialy making an un enclosed contact vape. sounds like it might work. might work a bit better if you heat it in an enclosed space perferably with a magnifying glass or some thing. some of my best creations have come from souldering iorns, inexpensive and controlable heating unit. just look into what it's made out of so you sont go smoking plastic or some thing...
